The name should already make it obvious, Bet in BTC is a bitcoin betting site. It is an online gambling site that features a sportsbook and an online casino. It is a licensed online gambling operation that works with Blockchain.info to enable secure and convenient transactions. It is operated by experienced experts in the field of online gaming and, as the site puts it, these online experts acknowledge that betting in BTCs is “the way of the future.”

Bet in BTC offers a good variety of games. It has many table games, card games, poker games, video slots, video poker, as well as sports betting. It has all of the basics of a typical decent online bitcoin betting site. It has a VIP program and it comes with a familiar interface and supports mobile gaming. The website may not be the best functionally and aesthetically but there’s nothing to complain about. Even better, Bet in BTC is a licensed bitcoin gambling site.

Bet in BTC claims that it is the “best bitcoin casino and bitcoin sportsbook.” Of course, this is not something we would accept as a truth so we are doing this in-depth Bet in BTC review. Find out if the site lives up to its claim or if it’s just one of those run-of-the-mill sites. Or maybe, it’s just one of those gambling sites promoted with exaggerated catchphrases but are not necessarily a bad option.

Account Registration

Registering for an account on Bet in BTC should not take a long time. The form to fill out is not that long. You will only be asked for your name, username, email address, and password. There is an email confirmation step you need to undertake but this shouldn’t take a long time. You only have to click on a link sent to you via email. The entire account registration process shouldn’t take more than 30 seconds. By the way, you will not be able to log in if you fail to do the email confirmation step. Also, the password you enter during the registration should have at least 4 letters and contain at least one capital letter and one small letter.

Once you log in, you will be asked to change your password but you don’t have to do this. You can just skip this step and proceed to playing.

Account Dashboard

The Bet in BTC account dashboard is the basic dashboard that presents personal details, enables the password change, and presents a gaming transaction history. There are blank fields for updating player address, contact details, and nickname. The information you entered during the registration cannot be edited so if you made mistakes, it’s better to contact support to have them corrected. Otherwise, these mistakes can become grounds for the termination of your account. Submitting false or misleading information is considered a violation of the site’s Terms and Conditions.

There’s a Restrictions tab in the dashboard, which is essentially the equivalent of the self exclusion feature found in other sites like Betkurus and Nitrogen Sports. Here, you can set a daily limit on deposits, freeze your account, deactivate your account, or set a session limit. By default, there’s a 10,000 mBTC limit set for deposits.

The Games on Bet in BTC

A total of 164 games are listed under the casino section at the time we did this Bet in BTC review. The game list keeps growing so you may find more by the time you read this review. The 164 game count we had includes  98 bitcoin video slots, 31 bitcoin table games, 33 video poker games, 1 scratch card game, and a virtual racebook. The table games category includes popular bitcoin baccarat, blackjack, roulette, red dog, pai gow, craps, hi-lo, and three card rummy games. The video poker collection, on the other hand, features popular games such as Deuces Wild, Aces & Faces, Double Joker, Jacks or Better, Joker Poker, Tens or Better, Bonus Deuces, Double Joker Poker, Double Bonus Poker, and All American Video Poker.

We like how the casino games are presented on the site. They are grouped into major categories so it was not difficult browsing for a game to try even though the site does not have a search bar. Also, all of the games come with their respective “i” buttons that, when clicked, show modal pages presenting screenshots of the games and playing guides.

The Bet in BTC FAQ page says that the games have Play for Fun or free versions. However, we did not find this option. All of the games require a deposit before you can play in them. We assumed that the setup is similar to other online casinos wherein the Play for Fun version of the games is the default version for the games when you are not logged. We logged out and tried the games again, but the games indicated that we had to log in to be able to play. As such, we cannot consider Bet n BTC as a free bitcoin casino.

Game loading time is around average but there are some games, those with good graphics in particular, that take more time to load.

For the bitcoin live casino games section, there are a total of 10 games available. They are grouped as follows GGL Live Casino (live bitcoin blackjack, baccarat, roulette, and poker), Ezugi Live Casino (blackjack, baccarat, and roulette), and Ezugi Live Casino Asia (roulette, baccarat, and sede).

The Bet in BTC website does not have a language toggle but the GGL live casino games interface comes with an option to change to a different language. You will only be able to access these features, though, when you go fullscreen. In the default live games window, some of the functions like the volume control cannot be accessed. The languages available are English, Spanish, French, Russian, Czech, Portuguese, Japanese, Finnish, Chinese, Korean, Hebrew, Norwegian, Italian, Polish, Hebrew, Greek, Thai, Indonesian, Turkish, and German.

The bitcoin sportsbook on Bet in BTC, unfortunately, is rather sparse. At the time we did this Bet in BTC review, it only showed 2 sports categories: tennis and baseball. It supposedly features live sports betting but at the time this review was done, there were no live events listed. The sportsbook interface, nevertheless, is similar to what most other sports betting sites have. The sports categories are listed on the left, the game or event details at the center, and the bet slip  on the right column.

Bet in BTC Game Software and Fairness

The games on Bet in BTC are from BetSoft, GameArt, Laifacai, Ezugi, and GGL. The casino games are from the first three, while the bitcoin live dealer games are from the latter two.

Bet in BTC is not an efficient HTML5 bitcoin casino. The games are all in Flash. Nevertheless, we did not encounter issues with the games when we tried playing with them.

Bet in BTC’s games are not provably fair but the site asserts, as stated on its FAQ page, that the games are fair. The site uses a random number generator (RNG) that is claimed to have been certified fair by an independent organization. We couldn’t find the details for the certification of this RNG, though.

Bet in BTC Is Mobile-Friendly

Bet in BTC has a mobile-friendly website. That’s why even without a mobile app for playing the games on iOS, Android, or Windows mobile devices, Bet in BTC can still be considered a bitcoin mobile casino. This mobile compatible site is made possible through responsive web design. The layout and content shown are automatically adjusted to suit the display size of the device used to access the site.

Currencies, Deposits, and Withdrawals

Bitcoin is the only currency used on Bet in BTC. Well, the site’s name should be hint enough.

Deposits are made from wallet to wallet. There are no other payment methods supported. To make a deposit, you have to click on the red Deposit button  to generate a bitcoin address where you will be sending your bitcoin deposits. The bitcoin wallet address generated by the site can only be used once. Deposits usually take around an hour to be completed.

Withdrawals or cashouts, on the other hand, are similarly done from wallet to wallet. Withdrawals are expected to be processed in a matter of minutes. Your account balance only gets reduced (after a deposit) after the amount you withdrew successfully gets transferred to your bitcoin wallet.

Bonuses, Promotions, and Player Rewards

At the time we did this Bet in BTC review, the site did not list any form of bonus and promotion. It did not present sign up bonus, first deposit bonus, reload bonus, and other deposit bonus schemes. What’s mentioned on the site is a “VIP Bitcoin Casino” program. This VIP program is on an invitation basis only and there are no details on what perks, services, bonuses, and benefits can be obtained with it. Also, Bet in BTC has a an affiliate program. The important details (especially the commission rate or revenue share) of this affiliate program, however, are not presented on the site.

Country Restrictions, Anonymity, and Site Languages

Since the site does not mention any country restriction and it includes the United States in its dropdown country list for the player profile, we are inclined to consider Bet in BTC as a US-accepted bitcoin casino. We have to emphasize, though, that those who want to sign up for an account are required to be of legal age and are deemed responsible in ascertaining that there are no legal prohibitions against bitcoin betting in their countries or jurisdictions.

We initially thought that this site can afford its players the secrecy advantage associated with anonymous bitcoin casino sites but we found in the FAQ page that the site may still ask for proofs of identity when making withdrawals as part of its compliance to the gambling license granted to it by the government of Curacao.

The site is only available in English but as mentioned earlier, the bitcoin live dealer games from GGL has an option to switch to a different language.

Bet in BTC is an online gambling operation that is being operated and managed by Mirage Corporation N.V., a licensed company (registration # 132869) with the following official address: Wilhelminalaan 13, Willemstad, Curacao. In other words, this is one legitimate online sportsbook and casino licensed in Curacao or Netherland Antilles. It is a relatively new bitcoin betting site founded in 2015.

The site’s security is guaranteed by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption from GoDaddy.com. Players are assured that their transactions and accounts are properly protected and that supposedly confidential information are not intercepted by those who don’t have the authority to access them. The site claims to implement robust internal processes to ensure security. Also, to avoid bitcoin theft, multiple wallets are maintained. Players’ deposits are maintained in cold storage, separate from funds used for day to day operations.
