The graphics look great but it’s typical for the many bitcoin casinos on the web. It’s by examining what this online casino offers that you get to know what makes it different from others.

Established in 2014, BetChain is a licensed and regulated online casino that offers a wide range of games. The Slots category has the most number of games. There were more than 420 games available at the time we were doing this BetChain review. There were 12 jackpot slots games, 4 roulette games, 22 poker games, 14 video poker games, 6 casual games, 7 card games, 37 table games, and 17 jackpot games.

The games are in Flash but there are popular titles that have HTML5 versions especially intended for mobile gaming. Most games take time to load (in comparison to most other online casinos). It’s mostly because they have noticeably better graphics. Once the game loads completely, you should no longer encounter problems or delays.

Unfortunately, for those who are looking for live games or games with live dealers, BetChain does not have them.

Site Design, Performance and House Edge

As mentioned, BetChain’s website looks just like most of the other leading bitcoin casinos on the web. It’s good although there’s nothing really special about it. Page loading, as observed when we were doing this BetChain review, is fast and you can sense that the site has gone through improvements to become the way it is now. Just like any other serious online casino, you can’t find ads on BetChain. Overall, it’s a functionally and aesthetically pleasing site that’s easy to navigate. The only issue we found was at the bottom part where the “BetChain Affiliates” and “AskGamblers” buttons were covering some important links. Well, these links have their counterparts on the navigation bar on top so it’s not really a serious problem. We were just annoyingly intrigued with what those links above “Blog” and “Promotions” links are.

BetChain’s house edge for the different games are not explicitly detailed. So far, while this BetChain review was written, we only managed to find the stated house edge of this online bitcoin casino’s American roulette game. It’s at 5.20%.

BetChain is Mobile Friendly!

Although there are no Android or iOS mobile apps available to play BetChain’s games, the site can be directly loaded on mobile browsers. Only those that are compatible for mobile playing (mostly the HTML5 based games) will be shown on the screen. The site automatically resizes itself and rearranges its elements for the best fit on the small screen. There is no need to click a link to open a separate mobile version of the site.

The Flash games will not play on iOS devices but since many Android browsers support Flash, it is possible to play all of BetChain’s collection of games (not just the HTML5 ones) on an Android smartphone or tablet. We just wish BetChain actually developed an app for their online casino.

However, when using USD and EUR, the minimum deposit amount is set at 10 USD or EUR while the maximum is 4,000. When doing USD or EUR deposits, the system will ask you to create a profile that asks for your name, address, birthdate, and postal code. Moreover, there are documents required to process withdrawals. These include IDs (passports, licenses, and government-issued IDs), proofs of address (utility bills, bank statements), and proof of deposit.

The proof of deposit depends on what method you use for your deposit. If you use Skrill or Neteller, you need to have a screenshot of the profile page showing the registered email address. If you use credit cards, you need to scan the front and back of the card used in making a deposit. For bank withdrawals, a bank statement for the last 90 days is required.
