If you are new to bitcoin betting and you are looking for a gambling site that lets you play and win prizes quickly, Satoshi Buttons is one of the good options you may want to consider. This is not a full-fledged online casino that offers a multitude of games, bonuses, and promotions. It’s a simple BTC gambling that features only a single game with simple rules and a simple way to win bitcoins.
Satoshi Buttons can be a good introduction to the world of online gambling with BTC. The site offers a single simple game but it covers many of the things you need to know when it comes to bitcoin gambling. It serves as a good guide to the process and mechanics of bitcoin gaming.
Here’s a caveat, though: If you are a newbie in bitcoin gambling and you don’t read our Satoshi Buttons review, you may not easily figure out what this site is all about. Satoshi Buttons is far from being a good model for a bitcoin betting site. It does not even provide detailed playing instructions or comprehensive information regarding the game mechanics. The site only has a total of three pages. These are the different pages for playing the game using different cryptocurrencies. Satoshi Buttons is not the usual bitcoin table games or card games site.
However, the Satoshi Buttons game is something so basic that we think if you get acquainted with it, you will find it easy to understand the terms and mechanics that are found in other online bitcoin casinos, as they are introduced to you later on. We can even say that the site can help you appreciate the advantages of cryptocurrency gambling and see a sampling of the drawbacks of the many bitcoin gambling sites that have
You may understand and enjoy the game better by getting to know it more thoroughly first through our review.
Account Registration and Dashboard
Like Rollin.io and a number of other single-game BTC gambling sites we have reviewed before, Satoshi Buttons automatically grants an account to whoever visits the website. It’s an anonymous account that allows you to make deposits and withdrawals. However, it also provides the option to register an account. Just find the Register/Login link near the upper right corner of the site. This link will open a short online form that only asks for a username and password.
The account registration process should be very short and simple. After you enter your username and password, and click on the Submit Query button, you will be automatically logged into your account. There is no email address required and, naturally, no email verification to go through.
The account dashboard is nothing more than a modal window that lets you change your username.
The Satoshi Buttons Game
As mentioned, Satoshi Buttons only offers one game. This game is like an extremely simplified scratchcard or minesweeper game. The game only asks you to place a bet and choose a button (the squarish cell on the game board) to reveal whether or not you get a price.
To place a bet, you have to choose the “price per button” you want. We initially thought that this should “prize per button” but we realized that that the prize is the bet amount times the number that will be revealed on the button. So “price” would be correct since it’s basically the bet you have to make or the price you pay in your attempt to win a prize.
Anyway, you have three options for price per button. It’s either 0.1x, 1x, or 10x. The price for 0.1x is 0.0001 BTC while it’s 0.001 BTC and 0.01 BTC for 1x and 10x respectively. There’s actually a fourth option, the orange Free button, but it is essentially the Play for Fun or Demo mode so there’s technically no price involved here. With it, you can proceed to playing without having to make any deposit. Also, you may notice that there are letters on the 0.1x, 1x, and 10x options. These are just indicators for the shortcut keys. If you press A on your keyboard, you will be choosing 0.1x, and so forth.
Once you’re done choosing your price, you can proceed to selecting a button on the board. Every time you click on the button, you will be asked to make a deposit. The deposit you will make should be at least equal to the price per button you chose. If you want to play 0.1x, you should deposit a minimum of 0.001 BTC. If you deposit more than the minimum required, you can proceed to playing without being asked to make a deposit every time you click on a button. A 1 BTC deposit, for example, allows you to continuously click on a button 10,000 times in the 0.1x price mode (assuming you never get to choose a winning button).
If you win (you pick a button with numbers), you win a prize that is equivalent to your price (the price per button indicated on top) multiplied by the number on the button you picked. Your prize is automatically added to your account balance. A button that does not have a number means zero and since any number multiplied by zero is zero, you lose your bet or the price you paid for picking the button you picked.
With Satoshi Buttons, you are not competing with anyone. The game just goes on and on. You may notice indicators on the game interface that show buttons that have been revealed at a certain point in time and the number of buttons that will be revealed before a new map (the game board) is loaded. You can stop whenever you want or you can go on and on until you lose all of your bitcoins or other cryptocurrency you are using.
Satoshi Buttons is a bitcoin multiplayer game. The board you are playing on is the same board that will be accessible to other players. That’s why most of the time, if you load the site, you will see that most of the buttons have already been revealed. If there are more players on the site, a game will end more quickly as more players click on buttons.
Satoshi Buttons Game Software and Fairness
There’s nothing on the site that mentions the software provider for the game that’s why we are inclined to write in this review that it is a proprietary game software.
The site claims that the games are provably fair. It shows a list of recent game maps (with links, shown in the image below) but nothing happens after clicking on the game map links. Also, we couldn’t find the sources for the hash, server seeds, and other variables that can be used for testing the fairness of the games. Perhaps the site just had some temporary issues that we couldn’t find the tools and details we need regarding the games’ provability, so for now we would take the site’s word about the games being provably fair.
Satoshi Buttons Is Mobile-Friendly
You can play Satoshi Buttons on your mobile device. The site or the game interface in particular adjusts so the suit the screen size of the device used to load the game, just like what a typical bitcoin mobile casino does.
There is no dedicated app for playing the game on iOS, Android, or Windows mobile devices. All you need is a web browser to play the game.
Currencies, Deposits, and Withdrawals
Satoshi Buttons uses three cryptocurrencies. These are bitcoins (BTC), dogecoins (DOGE), and litecoins (LTC). You don’t have to be tied to a specific currency (after all there is no full-fledged account dashboard here that allows you to set your preferred currency). You can play with any of the three cryptocurrencies mentioned. You can play with one and switch to another anytime you want.
You will be playing with bitcoins by default. To switch to dogecoins and litecoins, just go to the bottom part of the site and find the “Play with…” section.
Deposits are to be made from your bitcoin wallet to the game’s wallet (for your account). It’s the usual setup you will find in other online casinos that accept BTC. You will be shown a QR code along with a bitcoin wallet address to where you will be sending your bitcoin deposit.
For the withdrawals, you just have to enter your bitcoin/dogecoin/litecoin wallet address to withdraw the balance you have in your account. Most withdrawals are completed instantly. A withdrawal fee is charged although not specified on the site.
You may also enjoy playing Satoshi Buttons without making any deposit as it is a free bitcoin casino. As mentioned earlier, it has a Free mode accessible by clicking the orange Free button on the top part of the site.
Satoshi Buttons Bonuses and Promotions
Unfortunately, Satoshi Buttons does not offer bonuses and promotions. It does not provide a deposit bonus for whatever deposit. It also does not offer any type of promotion. Also, it does not have a bitcoin faucet like what most other single-game bitcoin betting sites offer. Also, Satoshi Buttons does not have VIP programs and rewards, and also does not have an affiliate program.
Satoshi Buttons Customer Support and Issues
This is one big letdown for Satoshi Buttons. This BTC/LTC/DOGE gambling site does have any form of customer support. There’s no email address presented on the site, let alone a live chat support facility. There were many things we wanted to ask as we were doing this Satoshi Buttons review but we had to make do with our own exploring of the site to understand how it works.
The only way to contact Satoshi Buttons is through Bitcointalk. It has its own thread there, although it’s not active. Also, on Bitcointalk.org, we found some complaints regarding the failure to withdraw. This issue was addressed, though, as a technical error. Notably, technical errors appear quite frequently with this site. We encountered the error message below more than a couple of times.
Countries Served and Site Languages
There is no list of restricted countries on the site. Since we were able to access the site from the US, we would presume that Satoshi Buttons can be considered a US-accepted bitcoin casino.
The site is only available in the English language.
Satoshi Buttons License, Security, and Anonymity
Unfortunately, we found no details regarding the licensing and regulation of Satoshi Buttons on its website.
On the security aspect, we are a little worried because the site apparently does not have a session timeout system. When we were interrupted by a power outage while doing this Satoshi Buttons review, we were surprised to find out that we were still logged in after we reopened the site.
What we can only be sure of is that this cryptocurrency gambling site supports anonymity. It offers the perks of an anonymous bitcoin casino. It does not ask for personal details during account registration, deposits, and withdrawals.
Satoshi Buttons Notes
As said earlier, this site can be a good introduction to the world of bitcoin betting. After reading a review, you may have doubts as to whether or not we have really posed arguments that support our assertion. Allow us to make our point clearer.
The idea about Satoshi Buttons being a good introduction to bitcoin gaming is founded on the following arguments:
- Satoshi Buttons shows how easy it is to do online gambling with bitcoins.
- Satoshi Buttons allows you to enjoy the perks of bitcoin betting such as anonymous gambling and fast transactions.
- Satoshi Buttons helps you get acquainted with the basic processes involved in bitcoin gambling (deposits, betting, withdrawals).
After knowing these, we think it will then be easier for you to know other bitcoin casino features such as the bitcoin faucet, deposit bonuses, provably fair, and so on. However, Satoshi Buttons is also a good exemplification of the drawbacks of many gambling sites. It does not have contact details. It does not have a Terms and Conditions page. There’s little information to find online about it. We also encountered a number of technical issues on the site like the server error and the sections that take a long long time to appear on screen. These are things that you may also encounter in other gambling sites and it’s good to experience how these drawbacks appear on an actual gambling site. These are things you need to avoid in a gambling site.
For now, we don’t really recommend playing on Satoshi Buttons with your real bitcoins, litecoins, or dogecoins. Until the site provides responsive player support, it would be better to just play with the Free mode to get acquainted with the game.
