Wheel of Satoshi is a provably fair bitcoin gambling site. It stands out for being a simple and easy to play bitcoin gambling game. Unlike other online casinos, it only offers a single game but this game is not just some run-of-the-mill game you can quickly dismiss. It does not look sleek and modern but it’s definitely far from bad.
You can play Wheel of Satoshi instantly, even without registering for an account, through the demo mode. You can also play without depositing bitcoins. The game is a great option if you just want to kill some time. It’s a typical spin a win game that is unlikely going to get you problematically addicted but is likely to give you some fun time.

Account Automatically Created
There is no Sign Up or Register button on Wheel of Satoshi. You can’t get an account the traditional way. If you want to have an account, you will have to click on either of the following: the Real Game link on the top part of the site and the highlighted Play Real link on the upper right corner. All of these links will take you to a page that will give the prompt shown below:
You will be automatically granted an account on the site with an automatically generated account name and a personal account link. Be sure to bookmark the personal account link or have it saved as a note because it is your only way to be able to get back to your account, unless you add a password or email to your account.
Anyway, you don’t have to worry if you clicked on the Play Real or Real Game link because you can quickly switch back to the demo mode of the game. You can still play even if you don’t have bitcoins to use. We actually suggest exploring the game through the demo mode first before you decide to make any bitcoin bet. You will be given 0.1 BTC in your balance every time you switch to the demo mode from the real game mode. You may also refresh the page to restore the free bitcoin balance to 0.1 BTC.
Wheel of Satoshi Account Dashboard
Once you already have your account, the Profile and Withdraw Coins links will then appear on top of the page. You can then add a password and email to your account to make it more secure by clicking on the Profile link. Your email will be required in case you forget your password and you need to have it reset. You may also change your login name or alias.
The Wheel of Satoshi dashboard comes with a message inbox but we think it was not working properly at the time we did this Wheel of Satoshi review. Also, this message inbox does not allow you to send messages to the Wheel of Satoshi admin or support team so you will still need your email account.
The Wheel of Satoshi dashboard or user interface in general is highly intuitive. You should be able to quickly figure out how to make a deposit, update your profile, or make withdrawals.
Wheel of Satoshi Games
Wheel of Satoshi only offers one game. It is essentially a Wheels of Fortune type of casino game. What makes it slightly different, though, is its bet flexibility. This game provides the opportunity to win more than 50x of the bet you place.
To play, you just have to click on one or more of the numbered segments on the table and set the betting amount. You then have to click on the Spin button. Wait for the results and find out if you win or lose. It’s as simple as that.
We like how the wheel is animated just like a real wheel. Making it appear even more realistic is the way the wheel moves at variable speeds and strengths. You won’t see the wheel moving fast and at the same duration. Sometimes it moves a little slower and may not even complete a full rotation. Well, these are trivial things but they show that the team behind Wheel of Satoshi has exerted some effort to make the game not as boring and visually monotonous as other one-game-only bitcoin gambling sites.
There is definitely no loading time issue with the Wheel of Satoshi game. The interface and game animations are butter smooth. The aesthetics could use some improvement but we’re quite sure it does not affect the enjoyability factor of the game.
Game results and details are shown right below the game. The details include information for testing the fairness of the results, the time the games were played, and the returns. These game results and details only reflect the results of real games, not those played in demo mode.
Based on what we have observed on the game results table, it appears there aren’t that many players on Wheel of Satoshi. In fact, we only found one player alias on the table after refreshing the site several times over the course of doing this Wheel of Satoshi review. This is not a favorable indication for a bitcoin gambling site because generally the deposits from players are the funds that pay for the winnings. With just a few players, and with many lucky players winning their games, the funds will be quickly drained and will no longer suffice to pay for winnings. Well, we have not encountered issues or complaints yet, but we just want to point this out.
Wheel of Satoshi Game Software, Fairness, and House Edge
Wheel of Satoshi appears to be using its own proprietary software or game platform. The game is in Flash. What’s good about this platform is that it makes for a provably fair game. Everytime you load the site, the initial hash and client seed are readily shown to the right of the game’s whee. This means you can quickly proceed to testing the fairness or reliability of the random number generator of the site. If you are not familiar with how to test provably fair games, the site presents a guide and instructions on provably fair testing. Just click on the Provably Fair link on top of the page.
On the Wheel of Satoshi site, it is claimed that its house edge varies but it can go as low as 0.96% depending on the bet amount. There are no details or specifics presented on the site regarding this interesting house edge setup.
Wheel of Satoshi Is Not Mobile-Friendly
Here’s some bad news for mobile gamers. Wheel of Satoshi is not mobile-friendly. It does not automatically adjust to the smaller sizes of mobile displays. As such, the links are too close to each other and the texts are too small to be comfortably legible. If you have a tablet with a big screen and is capable of supporting Flash, you can still play the game. However, the experience is something that does not conform to what we think is the ideal mobile playing experience.
Wheel of Satoshi, moreover, does not have iOS, Android, or Windows mobile apps for playing the games.
Currencies, Deposits, and Withdrawals, and Betting Details
Wheel of Satoshi currently only uses bitcoins (BTC), which is expressed on the site as ฿.
Deposits are made by sending bitcoins to the personal deposit address presented near the upper right corner of the site. Zero confirmation deposits are accepted on this site. Unfortunately, at the time we evaluated the site, the section for entering bitcoin deposits was nonexistent. There’s a personal Deposit Address label but there’s no field for entering the address. It must have been a temporary glitch but the site promises that balances are updated within seconds after the bitcoin deposit or payment is received
When it comes to withdrawals, the process is straightforward. You just have to enter your bitcoin wallet address and the amount you want to withdraw. The minimum withdrawal amount is 0.001 BTC. A transaction fee of 0.0001 BTC is automatically deducted from the amount being withdrawn.
The maximum amount you can wager on Wheel of Satoshi is 0.01 BTC. This limit is based on the average wagers made by players but is expected to increase as time passes.
No Bonuses and Promotions
Unfortunately, Wheel of Satoshi does not offer any type of bonuses and promotions. It also does not have a free bitcoin faucet. The demo mode of the game grants an account balance of 0.1 BTC but this is essentially play money so winnings you make out of it cannot be withdrawn or converted into real bitcoins.
Wheel of Satoshi Player Support
Player support on Wheel of Satoshi is provided through email. If you have questions or concerns, send a message to [email protected]. Suggestions on how to improve the gaming experience are also welcome. Unfortunately, this site does not offer live chat and telephone support.
Countries Served and Site Languages
There is nothing mentioned on the Wheel of Satoshi website regarding restricted countries. There are no banned countries listed on the site. However, considering that players are allowed to maintain their anonymity on the site, we are inclined to believe that everyone can sign up for an account and play the Wheel of Satoshi game, both the demo mode and the real money game. Also, the standard requirements for playing at bitcoin gambling sites apply. You have to be at least 18 years old (or of legal age) and you have to ascertain that there are no laws in your country or jurisdiction that prohibits online gambling.
Wheel of Satoshi License, Regulation, Security, and Player Anonymity
Information about its license and regulation are not presented on the Wheel of Satoshi website. When it comes to security, the site is claimed to be 100% SSL secured. On the other hand, we are glad to report on this Wheel of Satoshi review that it supports anonymous playing. The site does not ask for personal details. Adding your email address to your account is even optional. Moreover, the site does not ask for proofs of identity or documents whenever deposits and withdrawals are made.
Important Wheel of Satoshi Links
