BitVegas Casino is a gambling site that focuses on bitcoin betting. It features a decent-looking site although it appeared incomplete at the time we did this review.

This bitcoin betting site offers a good multitude of online casino games. It offers more than 200 slots and dozens of table and card games. It also has live dealer games. It provides most of what you can expect in a decent online casino. If you are looking for some new BTC gambling site to try, it’s not going to be a bad idea including it in your list of sites to consider.

BitVegas Casino is a relatively new gambling site but it’s something that deserves a good scrutiny. It’s far from perfect but there are a few good things in it worth considering, aside from the nice looking and well-optimized site.

Account Registration

Registering for a BitVegas Casino account is going to be a very quick process. It will likely take you less than 10 seconds to get your account. The registration form only requires you to enter your email address and password. After clicking the Register button, your account is instantly created. There’s no email verification required although you will still get an email to inform you about the successful account registration. You will be automatically logged into your account as you complete the registration process but you may be asked to sign in again when accessing important functions of your account.

Your username, by the way, is your email address. This is mentioned in the email you will receive regarding your account registration. The email also states your password so you can always return to it in case you forget your password.

After completing your registration, you will get a prompt offering you a sign up bonus, which you can refuse or accept. This comes with a 10x wagering requirement so if you think you can complete it, grab this bonus. If you still can’t make up your mind on it, you may just ignore it. This bonus will be offered again as you go to another page of the site or by the time you return to the site.

Account Dashboard

Bit Vegas Casino has a Profile page that apparently needs to be updated. However, since the site’s Terms and Conditions page is empty (at the time we did this BitVegas Casino review), we couldn’t be sure if it’s imperative entering your personal details into the Profile page. The account dashboard does not come with more advanced features like a messaging center or a self-exclusion function. However, what it currently has should be enough to provide a good enough playing experience. There’s a Bonus page that allows you to quickly see the bonuses available to you so you don’t get to miss them.

UPDATE: We received a reply on our question regarding anonymity on Bit Vegas Casino and we were told that it’s not necessary to fill out the Profile page.

The Games on BitVegas Casino

Bit Vegas Casino offers a good collection of games. They can be viewed according to type or game provider. We found a total of 282 games on the site.

At the time we did this Bit Vegas Casino review, we found 31 bitcoin table games, 191 bitcoin slots, 31 card games, 10 roulette games, 12 bitcoin video poker games, and 7 live casino games.

The table games on Bit Vegas Casino includes different kinds of roulette, baccarat, poker, blackjack, and roulette games. The card games include 3-card poker, Aces and Faces, Aces and Eights, All American Poker, Bonus Poker, Classic Blackjack Gold, High Limit Baccarat, Double Double Bonus Poker, Deuces Wild, Pyramid Jacks or Better, Tens or Better, Pyramid Bonus Deluxe, and Multihand Joker Poker. Lastly, the bitcoin live dealer games on the site include live sic-bo, blackjack, baccarat, roulette, single player poker, Carribean Poker, and Dragon Tiger games.

The games are neatly arranged and optimally presented so you should have no problems browsing for a good game to play. There’s a search bar but we find it unreliable since it does not search for games based on category or game type. It only matches the keyword you use to the titles of the games available.

Game loading times are around average. When loaded, the games take up the entire web browser window space but there’s no option to go fullscreen. It’s not a critical drawback but you have to make sure that your browser window is maximized or in fullscreen mode because the games get distorted if the browser windows are resized unproportionately. Game graphics are average to good.

Unfortunately, we cannot consider BitVegas Casino as a free bitcoin casino. To be able to play the games, you need to sign up for an account and make a deposit. We were able to get a sign up bonus of 25 mBTC at the time we did this Bit Vegas Casino review but we can’t consider this as something similar to a Play for Fun feature. It’s a no deposit bonus but there’s no assurance that it will be available in the long run.

The games are all in Flash, not in the more efficient HTML5, but we did not encounter major issues as we tried running them.

Currencies, Deposits, and Withdrawals

BitVegas Casino only uses bitcoins (BTC), in the mBTC denomination. All amounts on the site are expressed in mBTC.

To make a deposit, you simply have to go to the Deposit page and enter the amount you want to deposit. A different bitcoin wallet address is generated for every deposit you make. You will be generating a new address each time you place a deposit. The deposit amount will be reflected in your account after one confirmation. This usually takes a few minutes.

The process of making withdrawals is mostly the same. You just have to enter the amount you want to withdraw along with your bitcoin wallet address. You will be immediately prevented from making a withdrawal, though, if you still have wagering requirements to complete. The wagering requirement monitoring is updated on a per-minute basis so if you have already completed your wagering requirement and you still get this prompt, just wait for a minute or so to let the system get updated.

The depositing and withdrawing process appear highly simplified. We just wish, though, that the minimum and maximum deposit and withdrawal amounts are readily presented presented on the Deposit and Withdrawal pages.

The deposit history section of Bit Vegas Casino has a column for indicating the currency of a deposit made, which makes us think that other payment methods and currencies will be supported by the site in the future.

Bonuses, Promotions, Player Rewards, and Affiliate Program

Based on our scrutiny of the site, it appears that BitVegas Casino offers the following bonuses:

• 25 mBTC Sign Up Bonus. This is a no deposit bonus you can get for simply registering for an account. It’s not automatically added to your account. You have to either Accept or Refuse it. It is offered through a dialog box that persistently appears as soon as you log into your account. It only disappears if you refuse or accept the bonus offered. The wagering requirement for this bonus is 10x.

• 100% Deposit Bonus of Up to 2,000 mBTC or 2 BTC. This is actually just a first deposit bonus but we’re stating it just as a deposit bonus to coincide with what Bit Vegas Casino presents on its site, to avoid confusion. It no longer applies to your succeeding deposits after the first. You need a minimum deposit of 10 mBTC to avail of this bonus. The wagering requirement is 25x.

BitVegas Casino’s website says that there are more “generous and exciting bonuses awaiting for you” on the site but we did not find details on these on the site. It’s likely that these bonuses will be offered through emails or newsletters from the site. If you are looking forward to these bonuses, be sure to also check your spam box as the emails related to them may be filtered as spam.

At the time we did this Bit Vegas Casino review, we did not find VIP programs and rewards, a comp points scheme, loyalty program, and other promotions. This online casino also does not have an affiliate program.

Bit Vegas Casino’s noticeably not-yet-complete site (at the time we did this Bit Vegas Casino review) does not include details about its licensing and regulation. When it comes to security, the site also does not share pertinent information.

This online casino could use some two-factor authentication although we’re not saying it’s a necessity. The site uses a typical signup and login process. Bitcoin transfers are on a wallet-to-wallet basis so there appears to be no issue worth raising when it comes to depositing and withdrawing funds.
