BluffABit is a bitcoin only online casino featuring a good variety of popular games. It also offers games with live dealers and live lotto. It may not be the perfect online casino but it offers quite a few things that make it interesting. With its decent-looking website and hassle-free registration process, there’s no compelling reason to not give this online casino a try. It may not be one of the best but it doesn’t rank among the worst, at least when it comes to the range of games offered and based on the gaming experience.

We just wish there was more on the site to assist players when dealing with the bitcoin deposit and withdrawal transactions. The straightforward wallet-to-wallet approach in the account dashboard for the Deposits and Withdrawals may intimidate those who know little about bitcoins. There is information about the use of bitcoins on the site but it’s on a separate page. It would be better to have something like tooltips and guides within the Deposit and Withdrawal interface. We understand that the site is primarily intended for bitcoin gamblers but it would be a waste to not make it friendlier to those who are new to using bitcoins in online gambling.

The Registration Process

Signing up for an account is a very quick process on BluffABit.com. An email address is required but there is no email confirmation involved. Once you click the Register button, you are automatically logged in to your account. It’s a very quick process that, in our experience as we did this BluffABit.com review, was shorter than the 15 seconds indicated on BluffABit.com’s website.

The Account Dashboard

The BluffABit.com account dashboard is highly minimalist. There are only two tabs here: one for the Deposit transactions and another for the withdrawals. There’s no section for bonuses, something we thought wouldn’t bode well for bonus and reward seekers. That’s why we had to immediately look for information regarding this site’s bonuses. Fortunately, there are bonuses and rewards being offered. We’ll discuss more about them in the succeeding parts of this BluffABit.com review.

The Games

BluffABit.com offers a good variety of games. As usual, for this BluffABit.com review, we did a manual count of all the games since we have encountered a number of sites in the past that significantly overstate their game counts. For this site, we found a total of 343 casino games and more than 10 live dealer games.  These games can be viewed according to different types: Blackjack, Jackpot Slots, Video Slots, Roulette, Video Poker, Keno, Table Games, and Scratch Cards.

The casino games can be viewed according to popularity, alphabetical order, in a grid, or as a list. Each game thumbnail comes with a rating. Once you hover your mouse pointer on the game thumbnail, information in the minimum and maximum bets, paylines, jackpots, bonus games, and free spins are shown. This is one of the best ways of game presentation we have seen. There is also a search tool that instantly displays results as you enter keywords letter by letter.

The Live Dealer games include Live Dice, Live Lotto, Lucky 5, Wheel of Fortune, and a host of separate live casino games from Ezugi.

All of the casino games have Play for Fun versions so you can try them without having to use actual bitcoins. The games, by default, are not loaded in full screen mode but they can be made to go full screen. We actually prefer this kind of setup instead of having the games as pop-ups.

Game Software and Fairness

BluffABit.com features games from BetSoft as well as from Takisto and Ezugi for the live dealer games. The live dice and lottery games are from Betgames.

The games have been tested for fairness by TST Global. They are not provably fair but we have no compelling reason to think that the games are manipulated. There have been no complaints of manipulation or cheating associated with BluffABit so far. However, there are accusations that BluffABit.com is running stolen games from Net Entertainment.

Dubious Mobile-Friendliness

We are not sure how to assess BluffABit.com’s mobile-friendliness. When we load it in our mobile browser, it does not look like it achieves the best fit possible for the display size but when we navigate it, it’s possible to navigate it in the usual way mobile websites are being navigated. It does not provide the best experience but we can’t say it’s completely not mobile-friendly. We consulted Google’s Mobile Friendly Test but it returns a blank page, apparently because of a security issue. It seems Google is recognizing the security/privacy warning we have seen on some desktop browsers that the website is not rendered properly. Nevertheless, Google is saying that BluffABit.com is mobile-friendly.

BluffABit.com does not have a mobile app for Android, iOS, or Windows Mobile.

BluffABit Is a Bitcoin-only Online Casino

There are some BluffABit.com reviews that claim that this online casino accepts bitcoins and dollars or euros. We have to emphasize that this site is only transacting in bitcoins. The Deposit and Withdrawal sections of the account dashboard should make this point clear enough. Currency transactions are on a wallet-to-wallet basis.

Deposits are speedily processed unless the amounts involved are unusually high. The same goes with the withdrawals. We couldn’t find information on the maximum and minimum amounts on the website but there are online sources that say that they are unlimited. Deposits, though, accordingly require 6 confirmations before a withdrawal can be allowed.

Regarding the minimum and maximum bets, this information is found on the thumbnails of the games available. Just refer to the games themselves to see the minimum or maximum bet you can place.

BluffABit.com Bonuses and Rewards

As mentioned, we were a little discouraged by the possibility that BluffABit.com does not offer bonuses or other forms of rewards to players. We did some digging and found a page that provides information about the bonuses offered.

It appears that BluffABit.com does offer bonuses. At first, we thought their page on bonuses is just “bluffing” because they sound vague. It’s like the page was just created for SEO. We contacted customer support to make some clarifications. We were assured that the site really offers bonuses.

BluffABit.com offers cash bonuses that are basically no deposit bonuses. These bonuses can be given to players in cash or as bonus cash that can be used for games that require real money for playing. These bonuses have a validity period of 30 days from the date of issuance. The rollover or wagering requirement is 35x. Winnings made from the bonuses obtained will not be credited to the players’ balances unless the wagering requirement is met.

In the unfortunate event that players fail to comply to the required rollover times as the bonus expires, the bonus will be revoked along with the winnings made from them. This is a typical way of treating bonuses so we don’t really have any complaint on this.

According to BluffABit.com’s Casino Bonus Terms page, a security verification may be required on the first withdrawal. If the cash bonus or even just a part of it is used for a game that is not indicated in the promotional material, all winnings associated with the bonus will be voided.

If you think you will not be able to meet the wagering requirements of the cash bonus, you may request to have it removed. However, all the winnings you made using this cash bonus will also be eliminated. Better make this decision before you play games and accumulate winnings.

Not all contribute to meeting the wagering requirements. Their contribution also varies. Slots, video slots, and other games as specified on the site have 100%. Video poker, table games, live casino blackjack, live casino roulette, and live baccarat only contribute 10%. The following do not contribute at all to meeting the wagering requirement: live casino lottery, live dice, poker, 7/42 lottery, and 5/36 lottery.

We’ve read on other reviews and some online information sources that BluffABit offers a 100% first deposit bonus of up to 1 BTC or €500 + free spins as reported by other sites. This is supposed to be claimed by contacting customer support. Unfortunately, the live chat customer support already went offline when we learned about this so we couldn’t make a quick verification for this BluffABit.com review.

Affiliate Program

If you think BluffABit.com’s cash bonuses don’t offer anything much, you can participate in the affiliate program. This affiliate program is under the management of mBet Solutions.

There supposedly is a new commission structure BluffABit.com’s affiliate program, supplanting the flat rate of 35% of the Net Gaming Revenue. We couldn’t find this information on the site, though.

Net Gaming Revenue is computed as the total amount of bets less the winnings less the paid bonuses less the admin fee and less the bonus cost.

Customer support on BluffABit.com is available through email and live chat. It can be conveniently accessed through the persistent Support button on the lower right corner of the site. There are two tabs in this Support button: one for Contact Us and one for Chat. The Contact Us tab provides an online form for sending email inquiries, messages, or complaints. The live chat tab provides a quick way to contact support. To use the live chat facility, It’s important to sign up for an account. You can quickly go through the signup process or just sign in using your facebook account.

Unfortunately, customer support is not available 24/7. It is only open between 8:00 AM and 1:00 AM CET.

Player Restrictions and Site Languages on BluffABit

We couldn’t find information about country restrictions for players on the BluffABit.com website but there are online sources that say it accepts players from the United States and other parts of the world except for the UK. However, just like most other online casinos, it requires players to be at least 18 years old or to be of legal age in the country or jurisdiction where they reside. Also, BluffABit.com passes the responsibility of determining whether or not online gambling with bitcoins is legal in the players’ respective countries.

To be clear on the matter, we contacted BluffABit.com’s customer support.  We were told that they have a different online casino that specifically serves players in the United States. This is Vegascasino.io.
