CasinoExtra claims to be a leader among other casinos on the web due to the wide variety of “fun, easy-to-play, and enjoyable games” it offers including roulette, slots, blackjack, and table games. The site also features live casino and TV games. On its homepage, CasinoExtra says that it has more than 600 games to keep players entertained.
Like most other decent online casinos, CasinoExtra provides a number of bonuses including weekly offers. It also supports an extensive range of deposit options and provides a good level of customer support. It also comes with the ability to self-impose limits on your account so you can control your online gambling.
Account Registration
Signing up for a CasinoExtra account is a quick and easy process. The registration form you need to fill out is longer than that of most of the other online casinos we have reviewed but it shouldn’t take more than a minute to get everything done. The registration form will ask for your address but it will not try to determine the accuracy of the information you put into the fields, unlike what the “smart” registration forms of the other online casinos we have reviewed are doing (example: verifying if the zip code matches the city or province entered). There is no email verification required to complete the account registration process but you will get an emil to notify you about the successful account registration.
Account Dashboard
The CasinoExtra account dashboard has a good number of features. The details you entered during the registration can be edited except for your name, your email address, birthdate, and gender. You can quickly change the password in the Edit Profile page. There are My Bonuses and Account History tabs so you can easily monitor your bonuses and account activity. The CasinoExtra dashboard also has a My Documents tab through which you can upload documents as your proofs of identity and address. Also, the dashboard includes a My Store section where you can exchange your SuperPoints (see the Bonuses and Promotions section of this CasinoExtra review) with free spins and other bonuses. Moreover, there’s the ability to set daily, weekly, or monthly budget limits (wagering limit) for your account so you don’t end up overspending in case you go through an unlucky streak.
The Games on CasinoExtra
As mentioned in the earlier, CasinoExtra claims to offer more than 600 games. We did our usual manual count for this review and found 636 games. The site offers table games, video poker, slots, live casino games, TV games, and a number of other games.
- There are 56 table games on the site—we can call them bitcoin table games since CasinoExtra does accept bitcoin deposits. These games include multiple variations of roulette, craps, pai gow, blackjack, poker, baccarat, and trumps.
- There are 37 video poker games on the site including Joker Poker, Tens or Better, Aces and Eights, Split Way Royal, Deuces Wild, Jacks or Better, and All American Video Poker.
- The Slots category features an extensive and growing collection of games. There were 444 at the time we did this CasinoExtra review.
- CasinoExtra also features a category called TV Games. There are 7 games here, namely Lucky 7, Lucky 5, Dice, Wheel, Bet on Poker, Baccarat, and War of Bets.
- The Live Casino section of CasinoExtra has 44 games including different varieties of live roulette, poker, blackjack, keno, lottery, and baccarat.
- Lastly, the Other Games category lists 48 games, most of which are scratch card games.
Game loading time on CasinoExtra is around average but the graphics and aesthetics are excellent. The games don’t load in fullscreen by default and are in the rather old 4:3 aspect ratio. There’s an option to go full screen but it’s not the kind of full screen you would see in other online casinos. The games is actually just being loaded in another window and you will still see the address or URL bar of your browser, so it’s not a real full screen gaming experience. It’s not that different from simply maximizing the window where the game is currently loaded.
All of the games have free game modes. We can consider CasinoExtra as a free bitcoin casino because of the free game mode. You can turn to this free mode by clicking on the “Click Here to Play Free Game” button on top of the games.
CasinoExtra Software and Fairness
The website does not mention anything about the software used but we see that many of the games have tested come the Play’n Go, Yggdrasil Gaming, Netent, BetSoft, Actual Gaming, Evolution Gaming, VIG, and Micro Gaming logos as they load so we presume that the games are from these online gaming software providers. The games are unfortunately not provably fair. They don’t come with the provability widgets like the ones found in Vegas to Macau and 7BitCasino. The site, however, emphasizes that its games are fair and that the Random Number Generator (RNG) used “will always produce random results.” There’s a Fair Play page on the site dedicated to asserting this point but of course it’s not as convincing as showing a certificate from a third party that verifies the fairness of the RNG used in the games.
The games require Java and Flash. Hopefully, there are HTML5 versions available soon as Flash is already being slowly being ditched by major Internet players. At the time we did this review, Google already decided to end its Flash support on Chrome.
CasinoExtra Is Mobile-Friendly
CasinoExtra has a mobile-friendly website. Since it accepts bitcoins, it can be considered a bitcoin mobile casino. The site does not have mobile apps for playing the games on Android, iOS, and Windows mobile devices but the mobile-friendly site already provides a good enough mobile gaming experience.
Currencies, Deposits, Withdrawals and Betting Particulars
CasinoExtra uses three currencies: US dollar (USD), euro (EUR), and British pound (GBP). Bitcoins are accepted but not used as the currency in the games.
The deposit options available are Visa and MasterCard credit cards, Neteller, Skrill, PaysafeCard, iDeal, EntroPay, ePro, Boku by Neteller, and ecoPayz. Bitcoin deposits are accepted through Neteller. The amounts deposited are all converted into the currency you specify during the account registration process. CasinoExtra offers a number of bonuses and promotions. They can be summarized as follows:

For all the bonuses mentioned here, the wagering requirement multiplier factor is to be applied on the sum of the deposit and the corresponding bonus, not just on the bonus amount.

However, at the time we did this CasinoExtra review, live chat was not functioning. Nothing comes out after clicking on the live chat button. We tried making an inquiry via email and we are glad to report in this CasinoExtra review that we were able to get a prompt and satisfactory response.
