Based in San Jose, Costa Rica, BetCRIS is one of the more well-known online gambling sites at present. It is also one of the oldest gambling sites on the Internet. Account Registration – You Don’t Have a Say on What Your Username Will Be
Registering for a BetCRIS account does not take a long time. You don’t have to fill out a “demanding” online form that asks for a lot of information and scans every information you enter for validity. You have to avoid entering false or misleading details, though, because that could become grounds for the termination of your account and the balance you have in it.
It took us around 40 seconds to complete the online registration form. Initially, we thought we were automatically logged in after the registration was completed. As we tried to access the account dashboard, though, we were asked to log in. That’s when we realized that we were not asked for a username during the registration process. We thought our email address already serves as the username. It isn’t the username you have to use when logging in.
The username is the account name, a random combination of letters and numbers, that was flashed after the registration was completed. If you forgot this account name, you have to go to the email BetCRIS sent to confirm your account registration. This email contains your account name. In our case, it was sent to the spam box so it’s likely that you will also receive this registration email from BetCRIS on your spam box.
Account Dashboard
The BetCRIS account dashboard is distinct-looking. It’s a feature-rich account dashboard that is easy to figure out. It has a messaging system so you don’t have to go to your email account to send emails or check for important announcements from or communications with BetCRIS. We thought that this account dashboard does not allow the editing of the details entered during the registration process but it turns out you can actually edit these details (name, address, contact number, etc) by going to the Cashier page. However, you cannot change the username BetCRIS created for you. Also, the dashboard allows you to set your time zone and modify the site’s font size.
For currency deposits and withdrawals, you will have to click on the green Cashier button, which launches a pop-up window. BetCRIS has an intuitive Cashier page. Also, as mentioned, it has a section where you can edit the personal details you entered during the account registration process. It’s under the section for verifying your billing information.
Sports Betting on BetCRIS
As mentioned in the introductory part of this BetCRIS review, the online casino games mentioned on the site don’t exist. That’s why the discussion here will be limited to sports betting.
Sports betting on BetCRIS covers virtually all major events including baseball, hocket, soccer, football, basketball, NASCAR, horse racing, tennis, Formula 1 Racing, golf, horse racing, rugby, boxing, martial arts, cricket, cycling, and e-sports.
There are different wagering types on the site: Straight, Parlay, Teaser, “If Win Bet,” and “If Win or Tie.” There are also many types of propositions.
BetCRIS offers pre-game betting, live score betting, and contests. The site’s Live Betting section supports single and multi-event sessions. The BetCRIS website has excellently-presented rules for its games so it shouldn’t be difficult finding your way around.
BetCRIS Game Software
The BetCRIS website does not mention anything about the software it uses. We had to do some digging to find out that it used to use 21GNet and Digital Gaming Solutions for its casino games. We couldn’t find information regarding the software for the sports betting platform. We are inclined to write in this BetCRIS review that the software is proprietary, owned by BetCRIS. This sports betting platform is easy to use. We just wish it isn’t as dull-looking as it currently is.
BetCRIS Is Mobile-Friendly
BetCRIS has a mobile-friendly website. It does not have an Android, iOS, or Windows app for playing on mobile devices.
