The wonderful site is a bitcoin dice gambling site. It is relatively recent in the online betting scene. Nevertheless, it brags of something not many similar gambling platforms can brag about. It has a house margin of 0.1% and offers players 96% chances of success. You might not enjoy the site’s slightly “tacky” name or the unusual web appearance but there are various factors about this dice site you must take into account. Many players choose this site.

Betbit’s somewhat sparse and amateurish website is not something we would consider a disadvantage. The functions and features are definitely given greater weight for this Betbit.co review. Read along to find out if Betbit is one gambling site you should think of signing up an account with.

Betbit’s Account Registration Process

As usual, we are jumpstarting this review with an assessment of the account registration process. With Betbit, we are let down by how it requires a social media account to be able to get an account. Betbit does not employ a typical account sign-up process. What it does is to ask players to tie their social media account with a Betbit.co account.

Only three social media accounts are accepted. These are Facebook, Google+, and VK. For the uninitiated, VK is claimed to be the largest European social media network.

This kind of setup has “goodbye anonymity” written all over it. Unless you sign up for a fictitious social media account to be able to get a Betbit account without divulging your identity, it is unlikely that you will be able to play anonymously on Betbit. Worse, only three social media accounts are accepted. Betbit could have at least tied up with openID for this kind of setup.

Account Dashboard

Betbit’s account dashboard is simple and intuitive enough. Dice players should already be able to figure things out here. The dashboard enables the monitoring of the plays and presents game logs and referral logs. Typical of dice sites, there’s nothing much to do with the account dashboard.

The Game

Betbit.co is a simple dice game. Newbies and old-timers should not have a hard time playing it. It only involves the setting of bet size, setting of the chance or risk factor, and choosing a button (Lower or Higher) for the actual gamble. The result is shown at the center of the site. The drawn number is shown in some yellow shade if you win and in red if your bet lost.

It’s as simple as that. Unlike some of the dice sites we encountered, though, Betbit does not come with an auto button so you would really have to do all the clicking to play.

Game Software and Interface

Betbit’s game software is most likely its own proprietary software. We tried to look for information about the software for this Betbit review but the details are elusive.

We are not sure if we are satisfied with Betbit.co game interface. We have no issue with it being very minimalist. Simpler is better, we believe. However, there’s something off with it. For one, the keyboard shortcuts for the game are enabled by default. As such, we ended up “playing the game” even when what we actually wanted to do is to write an email inquiry. The keyboard shortcuts were controlling the game even when what we wanted to do was to type an email inquiry through the Support online form.

The keyboard shortcuts can be deactivated. We just wish they are deactivated by default. It’s highly likely for players to mistakenly play games because of keyboard hotkeys.

Provably Fair Game

Betbit has a provably fair gaming system. This should already be obvious right at the homepage. Click on the Fair link at the bottom left part of the website and you will be shown an in-page pop-up guide on how the games can be tested for fairness.

Betbit readily provides the Hash code before a game starts. You just have to copy this Hash code so you can use it later on for the provability testing. Anyway, the tutorial misspells “My Plays” as “My Place” for the Step 2 instruction so don’t be misled (what kind of place could the site’s write be thinking?). Just follow everything on the tutorial and you should be able to determine whether or not the games on Betbit are provably fair.

Betbit.co Is Mobile-Friendly

Betbit has a mobile-friendly website that adequately compensates for the lack of mobile apps for Android and iOS devices. This mobile-friendly site enables quick playing anywhere as it offers a great way to make bets with just your thumb or a few fingers.

Betbit Is a Bitcoin-Only Gambling Site

Betbit only accepts bitcoins. Before you can make a deposit, you will have to generate your deposit address. After clicking on the Deposit button, you will be shown a dialog box through which you will be generating your deposit address. We had to click several times on the button for generating a deposit address as it failed to respond as expected. After some tries, we were finally shown our deposit address with its corresponding QR code.

There is nothing mentioned about minimum and maximum deposit amounts so we assume there are no min/max limits when it comes to the deposits.

The same goes for withdrawals. There are no minimum and maximum limits mentioned. However, there is a 0.0001 BTC standard transaction fee charged. Obviously, it does not make sense paying 0.0001 for the transaction fee just to withdraw an amount that is lower than the transaction fee, so the minimum withdrawal amount is already implied here.

To ensure the protection of the deposited bitcoins, Betbit has a policy of moving most of the collected bitcoins to a cold wallet. The amount stored in the hot wallet is just enough to cover day-to-day transactions.

We sent an inquiry regarding the minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts but we have not received a response yet.

No Typical Bonuses and Rewards but there Are Free BTCs Offered

Betbit has a bitcoin faucet that that grants 350 satoshis once per 5 minutes and once for every account and IP address. A free BTC claim can only be made if a player’s balance falls below 0.00001 BTC.

If you have just registered for an account, you may notice that your balance already has 0.00001 BTC in it. This is the 1,000 satoshi bonus granted by Betbit to all new players for registering.

Moreover, Betbit has an affiliate program. You can learn about the details by going to the Referrals page. The affiliate program allows you to earn 0.05% of the bet made by a player you referred to the site. To earn from referrals, you just have to get your referral link under the Referrals page. Share this link on social media and start earning your free BTCs based on the amounts wagered by the player you referred.

We’re not sure what Betbit actually means on its Terms page that a referrer gets 50% from commission while a second referrer getes 30% and a third referrer gets 10%. We also sent an inquiry about this but we no longer received a reply.

Betbit Player Support

So Betbit is a new site…can we really expect good customer support from it? Unfortunately, this is one aspect where Betbit is at a disadvantage. It only provides support through email. This is through an online form that can be accessed by clicking the Support link on the bottom left portion of the site.

We were writing a quite lengthy inquiry and we were ready to send the message when the form alerted that we had the wrong captcha. This was odd because there was no captcha portion on the form. We have the screenshot below to prove it. We had to rewrite our message because it was completely stricken down after the captcha failure.

When we clicked on the Support link again, the online form already came with a captcha field. We refreshed the page and tried the Support link once more and the captcha field was there again. We suspected that an initial click on the Submit button is needed to activate the captcha portion. Apparently, the first attempt at sending an email to Betbit will be useless. We hope this gets fixed. It’s bad enough that Betbit only has this email support channel. It’s worse having it acting erratically.

We commend Betbit for providing a quick response to our first inquiry. We got a response to our first question within just a few minutes, not more than 15 minutes in our guesstimate. However, we no longer received responses to our succeeding questions. It seems the support team only picks certain topics or issues they like to address. We no longer got replies on important matters like our request for clarification on the referral earnings percentages.

Players Served and Site Languages

Considering that Betbit’s website can be viewed in English and Russian, we are inclined to believe that Russian online dice game fans are the main target players of the site. The good news is that Betbit does not have country restrictions. Everyone is welcome to play on Betbit. This is obviously the advantage of playing with bitcoins.

Licensing and Regulation

We could not find information about Betbit’s online gambling license on its website. We also failed to find pertinent details in other sites. We sent an email inquiry to Betbit but we did not receive a response. This inquiry was right after the first we sent with which we got a prompt response. It appears Betbit’s support personnel are not supposed to divulge information regarding the licensing and regulation of the site.

Betbit’s terms require players to be of legal age and to ascertain that there are no laws in their respective countries or jurisdictions that disallow them to play on gambling sites on the web.

We are inclined to write in this Betbit review that the site is not licensed or maybe it is still in the process of obtaining a license.

Betbit offers a convenient tutorial to help players in learning the ropes of the game. We can’t provide a link to this tutorial because it is just a floating window that appears within the page after clicking the Tutorial link at the bottom part of the site’s homepage.
