PlayAmo is a licensed gambling site that proudly claims the distinction of being operated by a group of experienced casino players and enthusiasts. It is self-described as a high-end online casino that features games from many leading online casino software providers. With more than 600 games, PlayAmo is arguably one of the more serious options if you are looking for an online casino to sign up with.
The games on PlayAmo are supplied by multiple online casino software providers although PlayAmo states that all games are licensed under SoftSwiss N.V. only. They include live games and a host of jackpot games. These games are comparable to what is being offered by other leading online casinos. They have good aesthetics, fair, and are adequately reliable. PlayAmo claims that its games are provably fair although there are no provability widgets that come with them and the hashes or server seeds are not readily provided. We have no issues about the trustworthiness of the games, though (more on this later).
There are many good things to write about PlayAmo. However, there are also less than favorable things we have to take into account. Get to know more about this gambling site through our PlayAmo review. Know the pros and cons. Find out if this site lives up to its claims or if it’s actually good enough even without completely delivering on its claims.
Quick and Easy Account Registration Process
Signing up for an account with PlayAmo is a notably quick process mainly because only a few details are required. There is email confirmation involved but since the confirmation email usually arrives almost at the same time when the Sign Up button is clicked, you should be able to get your account very quickly. PlayAmo promises a 15-second account registration process but we think we were able to complete the process in less time.
You get automatically logged in to your account as you click on the confirmation link on your email.
PlayAmo uses your email address sans the @xxx.xxx part as your account name by default so don’t be surprised if you see your name being used as your account name even if you did not volunteer that information during the registration process, or if you see some weird account name because you used an email account you seldom use. You can change this name, though, by going to the Profile page of your account dashboard.
Account Dashboard
The PlayAmo account dashboard is simple and intuitive. You should be able to quickly find the options or functions you need. If you have had other online casino accounts before, you may have already encountered this kind of account dashboard. It provides most of the functions available in other online casino account dashboards. As mentioned, it allows you to do edits on your profile, including your password.
PlayAmo’s account dashboard does not include the feature to impose self-exclusion or set limits for wagers and losses. However, players can contact PlayAmo via email ([email protected]) to request for the temporary disabling of access. We reviewed the Terms and Conditions and we found nothing that compels players to update their profiles to add their addresses, contact details, and other personal information. We don’t recommend updating these unless PlayAmo’s admin asks for it. Well, if that can get you some degree of anonymity on the site, it would be advisable not to volunteer information about yourself.
The Bonus section shows a bonus history and a field for entering bonus codes. We prefer the bonus interface that shows all available bonus so you can just click on what you want to avail but this one from PlayAmo is not that bad to be a deal breaker.
The Deposit interface has a section for opting out from bonuses (“I don’t want to receive any Bonuses”). If you are a typical casual online gambler, you will probably need to use this option. The high wagering requirements for PlayAmo’s bonuses is not going to be easy to complete so it would be better to not avail of any of the bonuses or you will end up losing your bonus and the winnings you make with it as you fail to meet the wagering requirement.
The PlayAmo Games and Game Interface
PlayAmo’s website claims that there are more than 600 games being offered. We have encountered a number of sites with such a grand claim before they they actually have significantly fewer games in their collections. That’s why for this PlayAmo review, just like in the other reviews we did, we made sure to do a manual count. We found not just 600 but 662 games and it appears the collection of games on the site continuously grows as there were many games added with the “New” label.
The gallery of games on PlayAmo can be viewed according to the game category or according to their software providers. There are 5 main game categories on the site: Slots, Blackjack, Roulette, Video Poker, and Live Games.
- There are 439 slot games. The top titles include Billyonaire, Book of Fortune, Diamond Cats, Book of Aztec, Aztec Magic, The Ninja, Brave Viking, Platinum Lightning, Wild Shark, Eye of Ra, and Satoshi’s Secret.
- There are 7 Blackjack games including Pontoon and Multihand Blackjack Pro.
- The Roulette category has 9 games namely Automatic Roulette, Live Roulette, American Roulette, French Roulette, European Roulette, American Roulette Flash, European Roulette Flash, French Roulette Flash, and Roulette Royal.
- The Video Poker category has 11 games, which include Poker 3 Heads Up Hold’em, Jacks or Better, Joker Poker, Multiwin, Poker Pursuit, and Wild Texas.
- Lastly, for the Live Games category, there are 18 games available. These are live Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Keno, Sede, Bet on Numbers, and Wheel of Dice games.
The rest of the games are grouped under the Jackpots category. These include top games such as The Dark Knight, Greedy Goblins, Mega Gems, and Mega Moolah Isis.
The games are relatively fast when it comes to loading time. The games are in Flash so they are not as snappy and less prone to crashes as HTML5 games. We have not encountered problems, though, with the games we have tried so far. The graphics are good although some seem to be intended for lower resolution displays. Most of the games, however, don’t have full screen modes. We couldn’t find a full screen toggle in them. They are limited to a
All of the games, including the live games, have Play for Fun buttons. However, when we clicked the Play for Fun button for the live games and tried playing, we were told that we did not have enough balance. So obviously, you really need to make a deposit if you want to play at the live games.
PlayAmo Game Software and Fairness
The games in the extensive collection of PlayAmo are supplied by a number of leading online gaming software providers. These include SoftSwiss, NetEnt or Net Entertainment, Microgaming, Endorphina, BetSoft, Quickfire, and Amatic.
PlayAmo claims that their games are provably fair. However, there are no provability widgets that come with the games offered. We are not that keen on questioning the trustworthiness of the games in this PlayAmo review, though, because the games are licensed and are supplied by reputable online casino game providers. Additionally, the Random Number Generator for these games have been tested and certified by iTech Labs.
PlayAmo Is Mobile-Friendly
PlayAmo has a mobile-friendly website. It’s not a separate mobile version of the site but the result of having a responsive web design. The page elements automatically adjust to best fit the screen size of the device used.
PlayAmo does not have Android or iOS mobile apps for playing the games but we can say in this PlayAmo review that the mobile-friendly website suffices in providing a good enough mobile gaming experience.
Currencies, Deposits, Withdrawals, and Fees on PlayAmo
At the time we were doing this PlayAmo review, the site only uses four currencies: euro (EUR/€), US dollar (USD/$), Swedish krona (SEK), and bitcoin (BTC). These are the currencies that can be selected during the registration process. However, usually, the amounts on the site are expressed in USD, EUR, or mBTC. The Terms and Conditions page also only mentions that PlayAmo deposits and withdrawals are in USD and EUR.
Deposits require a minimum amount of 1 mBTC /0.001 BTC/$20. There is no minimum amount for withdrawals. PlayAmo has prepared excellent tables that detail the deposit and withdrawal methods so we will no longer be discussing them. Just check out the screenshots of these tables below:
PlayAmo Bonuses and Other Promotions
A good number of bonuses and promotions are being offered on PlayAmo. They can be summed up as follows:
- 125% First Deposit Bonus of up to $/€100 or 0.25 BTC + 50 Free Spins on the game Steam Tower. Wagering requirement: 50x.
- 75% Second Deposit Bonus of up to $/€100 or 0.25 BTC + 50 Free Spins on Starburst. Wagering requirement: 50x.
- 50% Third Deposit Bonus of up to $/€100 or 0.25 BTC + 50 Free Spins on Lights. Wagering requirement: 50x.
- 25% Third Deposit Bonus of up to $/€200 or 0.50 BTC + 50 Free Spins on Attraction. Wagering requirement: 50x.
- Up to 50% “Have a Nice Weekend Bonus” (maximum: 1 BTC) + 20 Free Spins on the Gonzo Quest slot game. Wagering requirement: 50x.

A minimum deposit of $/€20 or 0.05 BTC is required to qualify for these bonuses. The wagering requirement should be met within 30 days from the time they are obtained, as the bonuses expire after this period. Not all games contribute to the completion of the wagering requirement. Slots contribute 100% while video poker, table games, roulette, and poker only contribute 5% each. The games listed below don’t contribute to the completion of the wagering requirement:
- Jekyll & Mr. Hyde
- The Dark Knight
- The Dark Knight Rises
- Devil’s Delight
- Kings of Chicago
- Mega Joker
- Jackpot 6000
- The Wish Master
- Forsaken Kingdom
- Lucky Angler
- Tomb Raider 2
- Champion of the Track
- Robin Hood
- Bloodsuckers
- Big Bang
PlayAmo Affiliate Program
We usually include the discussion for the affiliate program in the Promotions section but for this PlayAmo review, we think a separate section needs to be added because PlayAmo’s affiliate program is quite complex. It’s more than just the typical affiliate program offered by other online casinos.
PlayAmo’s affiliate program offers commissions as high as 40% of the revenue every month. The commission table is shown below:
This affiliate program mainly makes use of banners. It is not necessary to have a blog or website to be able to participate in the PlayAmo affiliate program, though. There are other options available. You can promote PlayAmo through Skype or email to be able to refer new players to the site. There is no wagering requirement for the commission you get in this affiliate program. However, you need to have at least $/€100 in commissions to be able to make a withdrawal. Commissions are paid on the 5th of every month.
PlayAmo Player Support
PlayAmo providers player support through email and live chat. To access email support, you need to go to the Support page to use the online contact form. Be sure to enter your email address correctly because replies will be sent to the email you entered, not to the email you used during registration. For live chat support, you just have to click on the persistent Live Help button on the left side of the site. This live chat facility is powered by Kayako and conveniently enables the sending of chat transcript to an email address.
Country Restrictions and Site Languages
Unfortunately, PlayAmo is not available to players in the United States and United Kingdom (for real money and bitcoin wagering). Nevertheless, everyone is welcome to play the games for fun.
To better serve non-English speakers of the site, PlayAmo is available in three other languages. These are Russian, German, and Swedish. The language selector is located on the upper right corner of the site. Many of the games also have their own language toggles and offer more language options than the PlayAmo website.
PlayAmo License, Regulation, and Security
PlayAmo is operated by Nabelse Holdings Limited, a company based in Cyprus. The company is registered with the Government of Curaçao as an information provider with the legal authority for conducting online gaming operations. Antillephone N.V. takes charge of this site’s egaming licensing and supervision. All of PlayAmo’s games are licensed through SoftSwiss N.V. with registration # 131879.
To protect player accounts and transactions, PlayAmo employs 128-bit Secure Socket Layer encryption. It’s the same technology used by many financial institutions. This online casino also guarantees that personal data being collected from players are secured and protected from misuse. However, the site reserves the right to divulge these data in cases involving stolen credit cards, money laundering, payment fraud, and other similar offenses.

Omg, I have just been through hell. Seriously, words cannot even describe the experience I had with the customer service. I almost don’t believe it happened. So I wagered nearly 400+ mBTC playing, thinking they had a 15% CashBack bonus (which I saw on here btw). I ended up losing it all and went to the live chat to ask about the CashBack. The REPRESENTATIVE kept copy and pasting “There are no bonuses available at this time” over and over and over. I asked for him to explain, not to just keep saying the same thing. But he just kept repeating, so I asked for a manager. This is when it gets ridiculous. He first states he isn’t the manager, then he is, then he says he told me not to leave him because he was afraid of being alone, and that he actually just got promoted to manager while we talked. He then said he always wanted to be a comedic actor. He continued to make my money i just spent into a joke for 30+ minutes. I cannot even begin to comprehend this. I’m totally appalled, to the point I want all the money ive ever wagered back!
They are big cheaters
This is the worst support experience I’ve ever had on any casino sight. I made a withdrawal request and went to follow up the next day, where they proceeded to tell me I had played through my money. I was shocked to hear this, as at no time did my few hundred dollars reappear in my casino account. I asked to speak to the manager, he said he was the manager. I asked for a copy of my betting history to be sent to me so I could check the transactions, he said they could not provide me with this information. I asked to speak to someone from the finance section, he said they do not contact their players. Needless to say from my experience, I did not get my withdrawal request, lost my money and totally regret joining this casino site. PLAYAMO is a scam and with a pathetic service.
