Casinoco is an online casino that serves fiat currency and bitcoin players through various online gambling options. It offers a wide range of games to entertain all types of players. It has been in the online gaming industry for years so the experience somehow manifests in how it presents itself and how it addresses the needs of online gambling enthusiasts.

This multi-currency gambling site advertises more than 300 casino games but it actually offers significantly more than just 300. There’s an extensive variety of game options, particularly when it comes to slots. Several live dealer casino games are also available. Additionally, Casinoco has a sportsbook or sports betting section. Even better it offers deposits bonuses that are not limited to just the first few deposits.

Casinoco emphasizes its support for bitcoins and even provides players the option to be anonymous by just playing with bitcoins. However, we discovered something in the site’s Terms and Conditions that is quite contradictory to the anonymity the site is trying to afford its players.

Account Registration – There’s an Option for Anonymity But…

With Casinoco, you supposedly have the option to enjoy the advantage of not having to reveal your identity, like playing at an anonymous bitcoin casino. Initially, the signup page will show a quite long online account registration form. You can then switch to the shorter form by clicking on the “Open Bitcoin-only Account” link. The registration form will then be reduced to something that only asks for your email email address, password, and preferred currency. Unfortunately, at the time we did this Casinoco review, we couldn’t complete an account registration through this anonymous bitcoin-only account route.

We tried signing up using the standard account registration process and we successfully had an account created. It took around a minute or so. The fields to fill out come with tooltips so we did not have to go through the hassles of doing a trial-and-error like what we had to do in a few online casinos we reviewed recently, because the password character limits or telephone number formats were not specified. No email verification was needed although we received an email confirming the successful creation of our account.

Anyway, we tried intentionally making mistakes while filling out the registration form (fictitious phone number, address, and ZIP code). The system had no problems with them and the account was still created. It’s not a “smart” form like what a few top online casinos have (forms that are able to detect the appropriateness of the details being entered). We have to note in this Casinoco review, though, that the site’s Terms and Conditions considers it a violation to enter false or misleading details. This violation merits the termination of the account and the forfeiture balance in it.

Account Dashboard

The Casinoco account dashboard is simple and intuitive. All of the details entered during the registration process except for the country and email address can be edited. If you need to change your email address or country, you need to contact support. The password can be quickly changed. Bets can be conveniently monitored in one window.

The interface for processing deposits and withdrawals is the Transactions tab (which can also be accessed through the Cashier link on top of the page). It provides a very easy way for making deposits and withdrawals. You just have to click on the logo of the payment method and a form appears below. Just enter the details you need to enter and you should be able to complete the process in a matter of seconds.

The Casinoco Online Gambling Options

There are three groups of online gambling options on Casinoco. These are Sports, Casino, and Live Casino. There are actually four options shown on the site. The fourth is called “Mobile” but this only points to the Promotions page.

Casinoco has a sports betting section that covers a comprehensive range of sports including football, athletics, badminton, baseball boxing, cricket, beach volleyball, cycling, darts, e-sports, floorball, futsal, golf, field hockey, greyhound racing, handball, harness racing, horse racing, martial arts, ice hockey, netball, motor racing, pool, rowing, rugby, soccer, surfing, tennis, volleyball, swimming, snooker, water polo, yachting, and winter sports. It also features betting on major political and entertainment events.

The Casinoco sports betting interface has a familiar look that is comparable to what most other bitcoin sportsbook sites. The sports types are located on the first column (on the left) while the center part shows the details of the games and the betting slip is located near the upper right corner of the site.

For the online casino section, Casinoco claims to offer more than 300 games. As usual, we are not going to just rely on their numbers so we did our manual count for this Casinoco review. We were quite surprised that this online casino severely understated their numbers. We actually found more than 600 games on the site, 627 to be exact. This number includes the live dealer games, though.

The games include extensive collections of bitcoin slots from various software providers. There are also bitcoin jackpot slots available. There are several varieties of bitcoin blackjack, bitcoin roulette, and bitcoin video poker games on the site. If you are looking for table games and card games, there’s a multitude to choose from. Other notable games worth mentioning are baccarat, keno, lotto, scratchcards, bitcoin craps, dice, and rummy. You can also find a number of bitcoin multiplayer game options.

There were a total of 57 live games at the time we did this Casinoco review. Since bitcoins are also accepted on the live games, we can consider this site as a bitcoin live dealer casino. The live games are different varieties of baccarat, roulette, wheel of dice, and blackjack.

We are greatly pleased by how the games on Casinoco are presented. They are neatly arranged. You can view them according to their categories or game software provider. You may also view all of the games in just one page. It may take some time for the game thumbnails to load but it’s really good to see all of your options in just a single page. Also, the game gallery has a search bar so you can quickly find the game you are looking for according to keyword.

Except for the live casino games, all of the casino players have their respective Play for Real and Play for Fun versions. As such, we can consider this site as a free bitcoin casino. Players are welcome to play without having to make deposits.

The games load slightly faster compared to the many other online casinos we have reviewed so far. They are not shown in fullscreen by default but they have fullscreen modes. For the game aesthetics, we can say it’s good to great.

Casinoco Game Software and Fairness

Casinoco’s sports betting section appears to be making use of proprietary software. However, the casino games on Casinoco are supplied by a multitude of companies. These are BetSoft, Ezugi, NetEnt, Pariplay, Evolution, Pragmatic Play, and ISoftBet. These are reputable online casino game providers so we have no issues with them even though the games are not advertised as provably fair and they don’t come with provability widgets.

Casinoco Is Mobile-Friendly

Players who are fond of enjoying online casino games on their tablets or smartphones will be glad to know that Casinoco is mobile-friendly. It can be considered a bitcoin mobile casino. It does not have iOS, Android, or Windows mobile apps for playing but the mobile-friendly website is good enough in providing a satisfying mobile gaming experience.

Currencies, Deposits, and Withdrawals on Casinoco

The currencies used on Casinoco are United States dollars (USD), euros (EUR), British pound (GBP), Swedish krona (SEK), and bitcoins (BTC). You will be asked to choose your preferred currency during the account registration process. BTC is not one of the options during the account registration process but it is accepted. You can deposit in bitcoins but it will be converted to the fiat currency equivalent.

To deposit funds, you have five options: Visa and MasterCard credit cards, Skrill Moneybookers, Ukash, PaysafeCard, and bitcoin. Bitcoin is arguably the most preferable deposit method because the minimum deposit amount is low (at 0.05 BTC) while there is no limit for the maximum amount that can be withdrawn.

The options for withdrawals, on the other hand, are bank wire, check, Skrill, Neteller, and bitcoin. Unless the payment method has different minimum and maximum limits, the minimum withdrawal amount is set at 20 USD (or the equivalent amount in bitcoins) while the maximum is 100,000 USD. There are no charges for Neteller, Skrill, and bitcoin withdrawals.

The bonuses and promotions offered by Casinoco are enumerated below:

• 100 USD/EUR/GBP Free Slot Money. This is a no deposit bonus that can be obtained by asking for a bonus code from the support team or from one of the affiliates of Casinoco. Wagering requirement is notably high at 50x and maximum payout for this bonus is only 75 USD.

Casinoco, moreover, has a referral bonus, which is essentially its affiliate program. For this, 25 USD is given for every referral made as soon as the player you referred has deposited at least 50 USD and has complied with at least 50% f their wagering requirements. You need to contact support to be able to avail of this bonus.

Countries Served and Site Languages

Casinoco serves players in different parts of the world. However, it’s important for players to be at least 18 years old or of legal age and there should be no legal prohibitions for online gambling in their respective countries or jurisdictions.

We contacted Casinoco whether or not they accept players from the United States. Unfortunately, as of the time this review was posted, we have not received a reply from the casino yet. However, we can confidently write in this Casinoco review that this is a non-US casino because the site is “403 Forbidden” in the United States. Also, the online registration form has a dropdown list of countries, and the list does not include the United States but it has the UK, Canada, and Australia. Like most other similar online casinos, if a country is not included in the dropdown list of the online registration form, it means that the excluded country is a restricted country.

The site is available in four languages, namely English, Italian, Spanish, and Swedish.

Casinoco Customer Support

On its Contact page, Casinoco writes that it provides 24/7 customer support. Telephone and email support are available. There’s a persistent “Chat” button on the lower right corner of the site but it is not for live chat. We checked Casinoco for more than 24 hours and we haven’t seen this “Chat” button turn into an actual live chat facility.

The Casinoco email address is [email protected] while its telephone number is +44 845 299 3715. Telephone support is only for UK players, though, and is available only during working hours.

Casinoco License, Regulation, Security, and Anonymity

There is nothing on the Casinoco website that says something about its license and regulation. The only pertinent information we found on the site is the seal that says “Operated in the EU.”

When it comes to security, Casinoco has a few security seals on its site. It also uses 128-bit SSL encryption protection and guarantees players that credit card details and information on other payment methods are not stored on the website.

As mentioned earlier, you have the option to remain anonymous if you play with bitcoins. However, as we went over the game terms of the site, we found a provision that is a bit of a letdown. Accordingly, if your winings amount to something that is considered by the Casinoco management as something that is “worthy of publicity,” you will be obliged to attend events arranged by the casino. This is obviously part of their promotional campaign but we think attendance at events that create buzz for the casino should only be optional.

Important Notes

Casinoco is a promising gambling site. The multitude of games it offers and the great bonuses are difficult to ignore. Also, the site is well-presented so finding the things you need should be quite easy. We just wish the site’s support staff could be a little more responsive. Over the duration of writing this Casinoco review, we failed to get a response from them over a number of questions.
