Ace Bet City is a gambling site that primarily serves Malaysia’s online gambling enthusiasts. It offers sportsbook and casino games. However, Ace Bet City does not offer games or online gambling in the same way typical online casinos do. It acts more like an online gaming portal. It offers various games through different platforms.

Ace Bet City is a little confusing. When we did this review, it took us some time to figure out how things work. There seems to be disconnect everywhere. It’s difficult to reconcile what the site is saying with what you are actually seeing in it. It did not help that the website was acting erratically and the games weren’t working as expected when we did this review.

If you are new to online casinos, it would be better to just look for other options. It would be better to avoid all the confusion Ace Bet City might cause you. Quick Account Registration

Registering for an Ace Bet City account is quick and easy. The online registration form does not require a lot of details. You should be able to complete the registration in around 15 seconds. After submitting the form, you will be automatically logged into your account. You will then be prompted to update your personal details as well as your bank details. There is no email verification required to complete your registration. You will just receive an email from Ace Bet City, which contains your username and password. You will likely get this email on your spam box.

Account Dashboard / User Interface

Ace Bet City’s account dashboard or user interface in general is adequately responsive and easy-to-use. You can edit almost all of your details. It has a messaging system so you don’t have to go to your email account to read the messages sent by Ace Bet City’s admin or support team. However, there are parts that seem to be working right. The Transaction History, in particular, does not show a transaction history interface but shows something similar to what the Transfer page is showing. The Transfer page is for transferring credits from one Ace Bet City game site/platform to another.

Also, there’s a section called Online Payment. It opens a page that requires you to sign in. We tried signing in using our Ace Bet City login details but this Online Payment page says that we are not registered. We contacted Ace Bet City regarding this but we did not get a response.

As mentioned, Ace Bet City is not similar to other online casinos. Instead of offering a collection of online casino games right within the site, it offers a number of “Products.” These are various collections of games under different brands namely 1S Casino, 12Win Casino,  Newtown Casino, Grand Dragon Casino, and WinningFT.

1S Casino offers 31 games. These are 12 live casino games (live blackjack, roulette, sic bo, baccarat, se die, and sic bo fan tan), 12 slot games, and 7 table and arcade games (Caribbean Stud Poker, Casino Hold’em, Baccarat Squeez’, Mahjong, Jacks or Better Video Poker, and Joker Poker).

12Win Casino offers more than a hundred games, which include classic and video slots, video poker, arcade games, scratch cards, progressive games, table and card games, progressive games, “Asian games,” and live dealer games. 12Win Casino needs to be downloaded for PC (.exe file) or mobile devices (.apk).

Newtown Live Casino is mostly similar to 12Win Casino. Windows installer and mobile apk downloads are required to have them installed and played. The range of games offered is similar to that of 12Win Casino. These include video and classic slots, arcade games, progressive games, video poker, and live dealer games.

Grand Dragon Casino offers baccarat, roulette, sic bo, Dragon-Tiger, and slot games.

We’re a little confused with Winning FT or U9Bet because the link provided on the site points to an online gambling site that seems incomplete. The games in it don’t work.

Ace Bet City Game Software and Fairness

The games featured on the different gaming platforms of Ace Bet City are from Gamingsoft, Microgaming, Betsoft, Play’N Go, Netent, Aristocrat, and Playtech. These are noted fair gaming systems so we are not going to be too keen on the claim that these games are provably fair.

Mobile-Friendly Website

The Ace Bet City website is mobile friendly but not all of the game options are compatible with mobile gaming. Some of the games are to be played entirely through mobile devices while some are meant to be played through desktop computers (requiring a downloadable game client) and those that can be played on desktops through web browsers.

Currencies, Deposits, and Withdrawals on Ace Bet City

Ace Bet City primarily uses Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) in presenting amounts on the site but it also accepts bitcoins and other fiat currencies.

Deposits are made through cash deposit, ATM transfer, counter deposit, and online bank transfers through the following banks: Maybank, CIMB Bank, and Public Bank. It is also possible to make deposits through PayPal and bitcoin. All of the details you need in order to make a deposit are presented in the intuitive Deposit page. A minimum deposit of 30 MYR is required.

For withdrawals, a minimum of 50 MYR is required. Unfortunately, at the time we did this Ace Bet City review, the Withdrawal page was not functioning properly. It displayed an interface similar to that of the Transfer page.

We found no play money or FUN currency on the games featured in Ace Bet City.

Bonuses and Promotions

A number of bonuses and promotions are offered on Ace Bet City. They can be summarized as follows:

• 110% Welcome Bonus or First Deposit Bonus of up to 300 MYR. Minimum deposit required: 30 MYR. Wagering requirement: 16x of the sum of deposit and bonus. Only slots (50%) and roulette (25%) contribute to the completion of the wagering requirement.
• 30 MYR Quick Start Package for New Members. This is a fixed amount bonus that gives 30 MYR for every 50 MYR deposited. Minimum deposit is 50 MYR. This is, according to the Ace Bet City site, only applicable to the first deposit. We’re not sure if this bonus can be availed in conjunction with the Welcome Bonus or one needs to be foregone. We failed to get a response from Ace Bet City when we sent an inquiry.
• Redeposit Bonus Chinese New Year Promotion. This bonus has three versions: the 100% Redeposit Bonus which can only be availed once, 50% Redeposit Bonus that can be availed multiple times, and the 25% Redeposit Bonus that can also be availed multiple times. Their wagering requirements are 16x, 11x, and 10x respectively. They all have a deposit requirement of 50 MYR.
• 688 MYR High Roller Welcome Bonus given to players who deposit 1,000 MYR or more in a single transaction. Wagering requirement: 15x. This bonus takes the place of the standard 110% Welcome Bonus if you deposit 1,000 MYR or more. Obviously, the minimum deposit for this bonus is 1,000 MYR. It’s like an incentive to make a higher deposit amount instead of just depositing up to 273 MYR to get the maximum 300 MYR 110% Welcome Bonus. If you are planning to make a deposit of 900 MYR, you better increase it to 1,000 to get the higher bonus of 688 instead of the maximum 300 MYR for the standard Welcome Bonus.
• 18% Non-Stop Daily Top-up/Redeposit Bonus of up to 300 MYR. Wagering requirement: 10x.
• 23% 3rd Time Daily Re-Deposit Bonus of up to 300 MYR. This is similar to the daily redeposit bonus but is applicable to the third re-deposit made within a day. Wagering requirement: 16x.
• Up to 0.5% Unlimited Slots and Games Weekly Cashback depending on the VIP level.
• 50 MYR Refer a Friend Bonus. This is Ace Bet City’s referral or affiliate program. This referral program, however, does not make use of links or other means for promoting the site. To get this Refer a Friend bonus, you need to contact customer service support via email or live chat as the friend you referred to the site makes a deposit of 500 MYR.

VIP Program

We couldn’t be sure if Ace Bet City has a VIP program because it does not have a page that properly provides the details about it. However, there are hints on some pages that say that a VIP program is in place. The information about the site’s Weekly Cashback promotion program, in particular, shows that the cashback starts at 0.3% and increases up to 0.5% depending on the VIP level, as shown below.
