Sportsbook.ag, formerly known as Sportsbook.com, used to be one of the big online sports betting sites in the United States. That was before the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 took effect in the United States. The site used to be owned by Sportingbet before ownership was transferred to Jazette Enterprises Limited and eventually handed to its current owner Domain Holdings Limited.

Sportsbook.ag, as mentioned on its website, distinguishes itself from other gambling sites with its easy deposits, free bets that don’t have rollover requirements, “industry-leading” Dime Line baseball odds, hundreds of prop betting options, 24/7 customer service, and useful information for players such as betting trends, matchup info, and stats for all games.

Fast and Easy Account Registration

Signing up for an account on Sportsbook.ag is quick and easy. Sportsbook.ag also has a racebook or horse race betting section. At the time we did this Sportsbook.ag review, we found thoroughbred races in the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and South Africa. Betting in this section is mostly similar to how it is done in the sports betting section.

On the other hand, Sportsbook.ag also has a good number of casino games. It has a total of 135 casino games grouped as follows: Blackjack Games, Table Games, Video Poker, Jackpot Games, Slots, Scratch Card Games, Hi-Lo Games, and Keno and Lotto Games.

• There are 8 games in the Blackjack category including single-deck, Spanish, and classic blackjack.
• The Table Games category has 14 games including Three Card Poker, Caribbean Stud, Pai Gow, Craps, American Roulette, European Roulette, Showdown Poker, Baccarat, and Red Dog.
• There are 3 games in the Video Poker category namely, Single Hand Poker, Multi-Hand Poker, and Pyramid Hand Poker.
• For the Jackpot category, there are 32 games. These are mostly jackpot slot games such as Brazillions, Bikini Beach, Reels of Rome, Gold Vault, Transylmania, Kung Fu Cash, Club Spin, and Vegas III.
• The Slots category has 5 categories namely 30 Pay Line Slots, 24 & 25 Pay Line Slots, 15 & 20 Pay Line Slots, 8 9 & 10 Pay Line Slots, and Classic Reel Slots.
• There is only 1 Scratch Card game on Sportsbook.ag.
• The Hi-Lo Games category has 2 entries namely, Draw Hilo and Casino War.
• Lastly, there are 5 games in the Keno and Lotto Games category. These are Keno Jackpot, 80 Ball Keno, Krazy Keno, Klub Keno, and Lotto.

Loading times for the casino games are around average. Game graphics and overall aesthetics are good to great. They are not loaded in fullscreen by default but you have the option to switch to fullscreen mode or to make the game run on a separate window. It’s just a bummer that the games are in 4:3 aspect ratio instead of the more popular 16:9 aspect ratio, which could maximize the screen size of most computer and mobile displays at present.

Almost all of the casino games on the site have their Play for Fun versions. You will not be able to access the Play for Fun versions by viewing the standard game gallery, though. You have to scroll down to see the Play for Fun game category.

Sportsbook.ag Game Software, Fairness, and Payout Percentage

Sportsbook.ag refuses to divulge the name of its game software provider. On its FAQ/Help Center, Sportsbook.ag only provides a description of its software supplier. Accordingly, the software provider is an international e-gaming solutions specialist that has been in the business since 1997.  We tried many of the games to see if the software provider’s name is branded on them but we found none.

The games are not provably fair but Sportsbook.ag asserts that they are fair as they have been tested and approved by Technical System Testing (TST). Also, Sportsbok.ag says that their software is desigend to yield a payout rate of 97% to 98% depending on the games played.

The games appear to be in Flash. We noticed some slowdown on our web browser as we  had the game running for a number of hours as we did this Sportsbook.ag review.

Sportsbook.ag Is Mobile-Friendly

We have good news for those who are interested in the variety of online gambling options offered by Sportsbook.ag. This site is mobile-friendly so there should be no issues in playing the games on mobile browsers as long as these browsers support Flash. The site has no iOS, Android, or Windows mobile apps for playing the games but we can say in this Sportsbook.ag review that the mobile-friendly site is good enough in providing an enjoyable mobile online gambling experience.

Processing time only takes somewhere between 3-7 days (the other options take up to 8 weeks). Withdrawals are charged a 5% fee, which is automatically deducted from the amount being withdrawn.
