Staybet is a licensed online casino that offers sports betting and an extensive collection of casino games. It also has a sportsbook and live dealer games.

This online casino features many of the things you would expect in a good online casino. Aside from the great collection of games, the site also offers a good number of bonuses and promotions. However, it is far from perfect. For one, it does not accept players from the United States. There are also some things mentioned on the website that are not available yet or that appear to have been temporarily discontinued.

Account Registration

Getting your Staybet account shouldn’t take more than a minute. You will be asked to complete two forms. The first is for your account details (username, email address, and password) while the second is for your personal details (full name, address, and contact details). Once you complete the registration forms, you will be required to do an account activation through your email (email confirmation). You should be able to do these quickly since the activation email, at least based on our experience, will be sent to your email address instantly.

Account Dashboard – Forget About Anonymity

The Staybet account dashboard has its unique look but is still intuitive. It shouldn’t be difficult figuring out how to handle it. There’s a My Profile page where you can edit most of the personal details you have entered during the account registration process. If you made mistakes or if you intentionally entered false information during the registration process, you should immediately correct them. False or misleading personal details can be considered as grounds for the termination of your account and the forfeiture of your balance.

Staybet’s dashboard has all of the basics including the Deposit and Withdrawal functions. You can also view your game history, go over some details of your active games, and mark your favorite sports betting games for more convenient access.

It would be very difficult not to notice Staybet’s aversion to anonymity in its account dashboard. One of the most noticeable parts of the dashboard is the KYC Documents box, where the account owner is informed that certain documents need to be uploaded to comply with regulatory requirements. The FAQ page also explicitly states that accounts need to be verified through the submission of proofs of identity. Don’t expect to enjoy the advantages of an anonymous bitcoin casino if you decide to sign up with Staybet.

The Online Gambling Options on Staybet

Staybet offers several online gambling options, from sports betting to casino and live dealer games. On the site, the games are presented in three categories: Casino, Sports, and Live Casino.

The Casino category features table games, video poker, scratch cards, and a host of other games. There were 371 video slot games at the time we did this Staybet review. There were 77 video poker games, 12 scratch card games, 22 virtual games (mostly virtual sports), and 35 table games which include several varieties of blackjack, roulette, craps, rummy, and poker. Also, the site has an Other Games category featuring 20 games which are mostly varieties of keno. That’s more than 500 online casino games to choose from.

Game loading time is around average. The pages of Staybet (once you are logged in), however, seems to take some time to load, especially when you are trying to load the Deposit and Withdrawal pages.

The games generally look good. However, they are loaded by default in modal windows that don’t perfectly fit the screen (not perfectly centered). They all have fullscreen modes, though, so you may just switch to fullscreen mode to get the best view of the game interface.

Some of the games implement country filters so you may not be able to access them. If these games are inaccessible in your country, they will appear like games that failed to load.

Staybet also offers live casino games. They appear to be branded as “LiveCasino” games. There were 5 games available at the time we did this review, namely LiveCasino Auto Roulette, LiveCasino Roulette, LiveCasino Blackjack Multiplayer Common Draw, LiveCasino Blackjack Standard, and LiveCasino Blackjack High Roller.

The sports betting section of Staybet has a familiar look and feel. The controls are similar to most other sportsbooks. The sports list is presented while the game details are in the middle and the bet slip is on the right side. Most of the popular sports are covered such as football, baseball, basketball, beach volleyball, boxing, cricket, cycling, eSport, Gaelic hurling, ice hockey, mixed martial arts, rugby, tennis, volleyball, and snooker.

Staybet Game Software and Fairness

A wide variety of games are available on Staybe and they are supplied by some of the biggest online gambling software providers such as Netent, Microgaming, Quickfire, BetSoft, Tain, Play ’N Go, and Genii. The games are not provably fair but Staybet guarantees that they are all fair and random. The site supposedly uses a random number generator (RNG) that has been certified by an independent third party. The site uses the same RNG for the real money games as well as for the free spins.

The games are not in the generally more efficient HTML5 platform but in Flash. Nevertheless, we have not encountered issues in them so far. They work fine on desktops and mobile devices.

Staybet Is Mobile-Friendly

Staybet’s website is mobile-friendly as it uses a responsive web design. The layout and amount of information shown are automatically adjusted depending on the screen size of the device used to access the site. There is no Android, iOS, or Windows mobile app available but we can say that the mobile-friendly site adequately provides a playing experience comparable to a typical bitcoin mobile casino.

Currencies

Staybet uses four major currencies. These are euro (EUR), Swedish krona (SEK), Russian ruble (RUB), and Turkish lira (TRY).

Based on information presented on the Staybet FAQ page, deposits can be made through Visa and MasterCard credit cards, Neteller, Skrill (1 Tap and Moneybookers), and bitcoin. Skrill 1-Tap  deposits have minimum-maximum limits of 10 EUR and 5,000 EUR respectively, and a 10% service fee. For Skrill Moneybookers deposits, there is no service fee and the minimum-maximum limits are 8.88 EUR and 4,441.46 EUR respectively. The deposit minimum-maximum limits and fees for Visa/MasterCard deposits, on the other hand, are similar to those of Skrill Moneybookers.

The details for the other payment options are not presented on the site. It’s possible that these deposit methods have been temporarily disabled at the time we did this Staybet review. The only information we can find (from the FAQ page) is that deposits through all methods are completed instantly. We sent an inquiry to know more about the deposit methods but we have not received a response from Staybet as of the time this review was posted. We verified with other sources online, though, that the other deposit methods listed in the FAQ page were available at some point so the unavailability at the time this review was made may only be temporary.

For withdrawals, there are three options listed on the site: Skrill, Visa/MasterCard, and Bank Transfrer. However, when we went over them, we found that only the bank transfer option was available.  Again, we think this is only temporary and more withdrawal options will be made available soon.

Bonuses, Promotions, and Affiliate Program

Like other leading online casinos, Staybet offers a great deal of bonuses and promotions. They are as follows:

• Up to 500 EUR Welcome Package + 100 Free Spins. This is the bonus you can get when you first make a deposit. It’s shown as a dropdown list of 5 different bonuses. However, at the time we did this Staybet review, the highest bonus that could be availed was “Welcome Bonus 3” that offers only 25% of the first deposit you make. The bonus is only up to 400 EUR.
• 100% First Deposit Sport Bonus of Up to 100 EUR. Wagering requirement is 7x of the bonus.
• 200% First Deposit Casino Bonus of up to 200 EUR. Wagering requirement is 40x of the bonus.
• 50% Second Deposit Casino Bonus of up to 200 EUR + 90 Free Spins. Wagering requirement is 40x of the bonus amount.
• 25% Third Deposit Casino Bonus of up to 400 EUR + 90 Free Spins. This bonus also grants 50 free spins in the Pyramid: Quest for Immortality slot game. Wagering requirement is 40x.

The Free Spins are automatically added to your account. You can just use them whenever they are applicable. Free Spins have a wagering requirement of 50x of the bonus amount.

The games on Staybet don’t have the same contribution towards the completion of the wagering requirement. The slot games contribute 100% while roulette, baccarat, video poker, Punto Banco, Oasis Poker, Texas Hold’em Poker, and Casino Hold’em don’t contribute to the completion of the wagering requirement. All other games not enumerated here contribute 100%.

Country Restrictions, Anonymity, and Site Languages

Unfortunately, Staybet is a non-US casino. As stated on the site’s Terms of Use page, this online casino and sportsbook currently does not accept players from the United States. It also does not accept players from countries where online gambling through fiat currency or bitcoins is deemed illegal. The site does not implement IP blocking so it’s important to emphasize that being able to access the site does not infer an invitation to sign up for an account and play. It is deemed the responsibility of players to ascertain that there are no legal prohibitions against gambling on sites like Staybet in their respective countries or jurisdictions.

As mentioned in the Account Dashboard section of this Staybet review, anonymity is not a strong point of this site. It requires proofs of identity when undertaking important activities like making withdrawals.

When it comes to security, we can say in this Staybet review that the site has a quite credible account and transaction protection system. For one, your session on the site quickly gets timed out for inactivity. We couldn’t be sure how long the session gets automatically ended but it’s noticeably shorter than many of the other online casinos we have reviewed earlier. SSL encryption is also being implemented and all payment methods are ascertained to be PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliant.
