Of course we will not be taking all of these claims hook, line, and sinker so we will be carefully evaluating what GTbets has to offer.

The GTBets Website

The GTbets website is certainly not the best website among online casinos and sportsbooks. However, it would be very farfetched to consider it the worst. It’s more than decent, at the very least. The design is good enough and the amount of information presented is more than adequate. The simple presentation makes it easy to find what you are looking for. Although the homepage tends to make GTbets appear more like a sports betting site (that the casino part almost drowns into nothingness), it’s not very difficult to find the casino games section.  We just wish they made the casino games section a little more prominent on the homepage so as not to discourage those who are visiting the site for the casino games, not for sports betting.

The site is easy to navigate with responsive enough pages. We have not encountered defective buttons or page elements as we were writing this GTbets review. Page loading was more than decent, just as how it should be considering that the site does not feature a lot of graphics, animations, or multimedia elements.

Lengthy Registration Process that Says Bye-Bye Anonymous Gambling

The online form for the GTbets registration screams “goodbye anonymity!” It requires information that are not often asked by other online casinos or gambling sites.  It asks for first and last names, phone numbers, address with postal code, and even t-shirt size. Worse, almost all of the fields are compulsory. Only the promo code and referral fields are optional.

The Account ID field is essentially for your preferred username. Don’t be like us who got confused what this account ID was all about. We initially thought that this would be some number generated by the system. Also, make sure that you just don’t write anything generic for this field because you will have to fill out the form again if the account ID you entered has a duplicate (or already exists). We recommend writing an account ID that is long enough and contains letters and numbers. to make sure that duplication is avoided. There is no way to check if the account ID already exists in the GTbets database other than by clicking the Submit button.

It took us several attempts before we could finally get an account. The system first complained that our account ID already exists. Later on, it complained that the email address we entered already exists (although we don’t remember using the email address on GTbets before). We kept rectifying the issues until we were finally granted an account. Interestingly, we were able to create an account without having to do an email verification. We thought we had to wait for a verification link in our email inbox. After a number of other attempts, we finally got an account. The whole process took several minutes, probably 10 to 15 minutes.

After successfully logging in, we immediately proceeded to reviewing the account dashboard for this GTbets review. It’s a simple dashboard that is easy to figure out. Even those who are new to online gambling sites should easily know what to do with the different functions provided. Just like the homepage, the account dashboard is also more geared towards the sports betting aspect of operations.

Bets can be made in four different modes: Side/Total, Parlay, Teaser, and If-Bet. There are also games that involve special wagering (progressive parlays, multi-league parlays, multi-league teasers, and 60-minute wagering).

The Horse Racing section features games in various tracks including Cal Expo, Aqueduct, Australia, Fairgrounds, Golden Gate Fields, Los Alamitos, Santa Anita Park, Tampa Bay Downs, Turf Paradise, and Yonkers Raceway. There’s also a virtual horse racing game. What makes horse racing in GTbets special is that 15% monthly horse rebate is being offered for all losses in the horse racing games…

GTbets offers a good number of casino games. The list of games available may appear minimal but it is actually as extensive as what other leading online casinos offer. The games are mostly variations of slots, table games, and video poker. The already quite long list of games to the left does not show the actual number of games available yet. They are just categories of the games available.

There are multiple slots games available that have been grouped into 5-Reel 3D Slots, Super Slots, Cash Grab Slots, 5 Reel Slots, and 3 Roller Slots. They form a combined number of 122 games.

The Table Games category features 25 games, which include poker, blackjack, baccarat, pontoon, craps, and rummy, trumps, and roulette games. These don’t include the 17 games under the High Roller Table category. And the 9 under the Vintage Table Games category.

There are three video poker categories (Super Video Poker, Video Poker, Pyramid Video Poker, and Multihand Video Poker) whose combined number of games reach 38.

Additionally, there is a category for Specialty Games, which are mostly keno games.

All in all, there’s a total of 218 casino games on GTbets. There are no live games but there are tournaments being held on a daily basis. Although the games don’t have outstanding graphics or the most appealing aesthetics, they notably load quickly.

GTbets Gaming Platform, Provability, and Software Requirements

The sportsbook and horse racing games of GTbets are run by proprietary software. However, the casino games on GTbets are provided by BetSoft and Arrow’s Edge.

We weren’t expecting GTbets to be compatible with mobile gaming simply because its website does not look like it uses a responsive design (based on our experience with several other online casinos). We were pleasantly surprised to learn that it actually is good for mobile gaming. The site automatically adjusts its layout and the amount of contents being shown to enable better navigation on smaller mobile screens.

GTbets does not have a mobile app for either iOS or Android but the mobile-friendly website is good enough to make up for this deficiency.

Currency Used, Payment Methods, Deposit, Withdrawal, and Betting Rules on GTbets

Many of the GTbets reviews published online appear to have not been updated with the fact that GTbets already accepts bitcoins. GTbets now accepts US dollars (USD) and bitcoins (BTC).

This online gambling site supports a variety of payment methods, which entail varying fees and minimum/maximum deposit and withdrawal requirements. These payment methods are VISA, MasterCard, Direct Cash, Pre-paid Gift Card, QuickCash, Skrill, and Neteller. Of course, bitcoin payments are also supported.

Except for Direct Cash and QuickCash, deposits made through the payment methods mentioned above are for free. For
Direct Cash and QuickCash, deposits can be free if the amount deposited is $200 or more. If it’s less than $200, there is a $10 charge.

Bitcoin deposits are automatically converted to $ amounts to make it easier to place bets since the amounts throughout the site are stated in $.

When it comes to withdrawals or cash outs, only the bitcoin method does not involve fees. However, there are withdrawal minimum and maximum amounts set, at $300 and $5,000.

It is also possible to make withdrawals via Bank Wire with a minimum amount of $100 and maximum of $5,000. The fee is $60 per transaction.

For Direct Cash and QuickCash withdrawals, the minimum is $300 while the maximum is only $600. A $50 fee or 8% of the amount withdrawn is charged for every transaction, whichever is higher.

VISA and MasterCard transactions, on the other hand, are charged a minimum fee of $15 or 1.5% of the amount being withdrawn with minimum-maximum amounts set at $50 and $2,400.
