IceCasino Review

IceCasino is a licensed online gambling operation that offers games supplied by Microgaming. It may not offer provably fair games but its games have been tested and certified for fairness and true randomness.

This gambling site is only around 3 years old (at the time we did this IceCasino review) but it has many features that make it a good option for those who are looking for a new site to do online gambling with. For one, it supports bitcoin betting, as it accepts BTC deposits. This is not without a drawback, though (more on this later).
IceCasino also supports multiple payment methods. It offers a decent range of bonuses, affiliate program, and player loyalty/VIP program. Account Registration

Obtaining an IceCasino account can be done in two ways: through the traditional registration method or by using a social media or online account.
The form you need to fill out for the standard registration is relatively short as it only asks for an email address, phone number, and password. An email verification is supposedly required to gain full access to all of the features of IceCasino. However, based on our experience, we did not receive any email through which we could click on a link to verify our account. Nevertheless, we could still log into our account and there hasn’t been an instance during this IceCasino review when we were prevented to access certain functions or features.

The second way to get an IceCasino account is the usual signing up using a pre-existing social media or online account. You just have to click on a button to initiate the account creation process that will tie your IceCasino account with your social media or online account. This feature works with Facebook, Twitter, Google, Vkontakte, Odnoklassniki, Mail.ru, and Yandex accounts.

Account Dashboard

The IceCasino dashboard allows you to edit all of the information you entered during the registration process. You can change your name, email address, phone number, and password. It also allows you to add more details such as your Skype account, gender, and birthdate. You are not obliged to update your profile, though. The IceCasino Terms of Use says that the company reserves the right to ask for a proof of identity but it appears you may just provide it when asked. This, however, does not make IceCasino comparable to an anonymous bitcoin casino. It does not support anonymous online gambling. Moreover, the Terms of Use presumes that when you play on the site, you agree that you will only provide “accurate, complete, and true information about yourself.”

Anyway, the IceCasino account dashboard makes it easy to keep track of your bonuses, points, balance, and cashback since all of these options are conveniently presented on the top portion of the site. Also, it has an inbox system that shows messages from Ice Casino but does not include the ability to send messages.

The Games on IceCasino

At the time we were doing this IceCasino review, there were a total of 177 games, 168 of them are from the Casino section while the other 9 are lottery games. The way the games are presented on the site is a little confusing. We would have missed the lottery games if we did not take a second look at the game gallery.

The casino games are presented according to popularity by default but you can view them based on their categories. The categories are as follows: Slots, Jackpots, Table Games, Video Poker, and Other. The site allows you to mark favorites so they can be conveniently shown under your Favorites category.

• There are 127 games under the Slots category. These include a multitude of jackpot and bonus slots. If you only want to view 3-reel slots, just click on the 3-Reels button right below the game categories.
• The Table Games category has 20 games. These include craps, baccarat, blackjack, roulette, poker games, and other card games.
• For the Video Poker category, there are 9 games listed including Aces and Eights, Double Double Bonus Poker, All American Poker, Jacks or Better, Deuces and Joker, Bonus Deuces Wild Poker, Joker Poker, and Aces and Faces.
• Lastly, the Other Games category features 12 games including bingo and casual games such as Bowled Over (virtual bowling game) and Crypt Crusade (a game similar to snakes and ladders).

The game gallery has a search bar but it does not appear very useful. It only searches for games based on their titles so you can’t expect it to return results that reflect the real range of games available on the site. If you use the keyboard “slot,” for example, you will end up not getting any result despite the fact that more than 70% of the games on the site are slots.

All of the games have their respective Demo and Play for Real options. Since IceCasino accepts bitcoin deposits, we can consider the site as a free bitcoin casino. You can enjoy the games without having to make a deposit via the Demo version, but if course this would entail that real prizes cannot be won.

The games don’t have a fullscreen mode. Game loading time is around average while game intuitiveness and aesthetics can be described as good to great.

IceCasino Game Software, Fairness, Payout Rate, and House Edge

IceCasino’s games are supplied by Microgaming. They are not provably fair but considering that Microgaming is one of the leading online game software providers at present, we are not keen on considering this as a deal breaker drawback. Besides, IceCasino has has a certificate (issued in April 2025 at the time this IceCasino review was made) from eCOGRA or the eCommerce and Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance.

eCOGRA has determined that for all games, IceCasino has an average payout rate of 97.07%. For the slot games, it’s 97.08%. The payout rates for the table games and poker games, on the other hand, are 96.98% and 59.54% respectively. eCOGRA also certified (July 2015 to December 2015) the randomness and fairness of IceCasino’s Random Number Generator (RNG) for its blackjack, roulette, and video poker games.

The games are in Flash so they are arguably not as efficient as HTML bitcoin casino games. Nevertheless, we did not encounter problems while testing the games for this IceCasino review.

Is IceCasino Mobile-Friendly?

IceCasino has a mobile-friendly website and the games similarly adjust to the size of the display size of the mobile device used to access it. The site does not have a mobile app for playing the games on iOS, Android, or Windows phones and tablets but the mobile-friendly website makes it comparable to a typical bitcoin mobile casino.

Currencies, Deposits, Withdrawals, and Fees

IceCasino uses three currencies: US dollar (USD), Russian ruble (RUB), Turkish lira (TRY). The site, however, supports multiple payment methods so deposits can be made in other currencies. They are just converted later on into your preferred currency.

When you click on the Balance link in your dashboard, you will be made to choose the currency you want to use. Be careful in making a click here as you can no longer change your preferred currency after you made a choice.

Deposits on IceCasino can be made through Qiwi, Yandex Money, Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards, OKPay, Neteller, Skrill Monebookers, PaysafeCard, ECOPAYZ, and of course through bitcoin. IceCasino has an excellent presentation of these payment methods so it would be better to just link you to the payment methods page of the site instead of redundantly discussing everything here. This presentation includes enumerations of the advantages of the different payment methods available.

Bitcoin deposits on IceCasino, by the way, is through OKPay. It’s not the usual wallet-to-wallet transaction.

For the withdrawals, the options available are as follows: Qiwi, Skrill, Neteller, WebMoney, ECOPAYZ, and Visa and MasterCard cards. There is no bitcoin withdrawal option.

There are transaction charges imposed for withdrawals but they appear to be dependent on the amount being withdrawn. You will see them as you make withdrawals.

Bonuses, Promotions, and Affiliate Program

There aren’t that many bonuses and promotions offered on IceCasino. We only found two of them.

• 10% Bonus on Minimum Deposit. The minimum deposit amount to get this bonus is indicated on the player’s profile. Instead of entering a bonus code, you need to click the Activate button (in the Bonus page) to get this bonus. The bonus will expire two hours after the Activation button is clicked. Wagering requirement is 20x. This bonus can be availed repeatedly, but only when the Activate button is already active. It is not just a sign up or first deposit bonus but can also serve as a reload bonus.

• 10% Cashback. This is a loyalty program available to the most active players of IceCasino. Unfortunately, only Diamond Order players can get this bonus. New players are referred to as Newbies, and are still several notches away from achieving a Diamond Order status. The amount of cashback is 10% of the total funds lost by the player over a period of 7 days, from Monday 00:00 MSK to Sunday 23:59 MSK. It is a weekly cashback bonus paid automatically. There is no need to activate anything or to enter codes to get this bonus. This can be considered as a no deposit bonus.

IceCasino also has an affiliate program that shares 40% of its income with its players. It’s the usual affiliate program that requires you to sign up and use referral codes or banners to promote IceCasino to other potential players. What makes it slightly different is that IceCasino provides assistance in optimizing this affiliate program to increase conversions.

VIP and Loyalty Program

Just like other leading online casinos that have VIP programs and rewards, IceCasino has a player loyalty program that grants points for the bets or activities made. You get a point for every 20 USD bet placed. These points can then be redeemed for various items or privileges depending on your player status. The player statuses are as follows: Newbie Order, Bronze Order, Silver Order, Golden Order, Platinum Order, Emerald Order, and Diamond Order.  The corresponding points, bonuses, exchange rate, and privileges for these player statuses are detailed in the table below:

Country Restrictions, Anonymity, and Site Languages

As stated in the site’s Terms of Use, players based in the United States and the Netherlands are not allowed to sign up for an account with IceCasino.

Unfortunately, IceCasino does not provide the perks of an anonymous bitcoin casino. It may require players to provide proofs of identity especially when the withdrawal requests amount to 1,000 USD or more.

The site is available in three languages: English, Russian, and Turkish.

IceCasino is a fully licensed and regulated online gambling operation. It is operated by Brivio LTD (registration # HE315596) and owned by Invicta Networks N.V. (registration # 123787) with the following registered address: E-Commerce Park Vredenberg / Landhuis Groot Kwartier Groot Kwartierweg 12, Curacao. The license is provided by Curacao eGaming.

When it comes to security, IceCasino employs standard account and transaction protection systems. It also makes use of the Invicta Antifraud Tool, which is designed to address credit card fraud in gambling establishments. Invicta’s tool features multi-stage customer verification, the verification of customer numbers, gambling manner/habit analysis, and over a hundred filters that perform customer in-depth verification.
