Megawins claims to be an “industry leader in safe, secure, and innovative online gambling.” It has several claims of being a superior online gambling destination. It claims to have an “unparalleled game selection” and the latest games from renowned online casino software providers. This online casino knows no modesty as it also claims to offer lightning fast payment processing and “industry leading technology.”

We tend to be more cautious in reviewing sites like this. We don’t want to overreact by focusing on the faults to disprove their over the top claims but we are also consciously exerting the effort to give credit where it is due.

Megawins is a licensed online gambling operation that offers a variety of games. It offers almost all of what typical leading online casinos offer, from the good bonuses and promotions, support for multiple currencies, VIP rewards systems, and millions in jackpots. Its extensive collection of games is actually impressive. It has a neat and intuitive account dashboard. Making deposits and withdrawals is made very easy and convenient. However, we encountered some considerable drawbacks as we explored the site.

Quick and Easy Account Registration

Signing up for an account with Megawins only requires you to enter your email address and password. Take note that the password needs to be at least 8 characters long. You might overlook the prompt telling you to make sure that you have the right password length. There’s an email verification required but it shouldn’t take more than 3 seconds, so the entire account registration process can be completed in less than 10 seconds. The email confirmation message from Megawins will likely be filtered as spam so be sure to check your spam box for it.

We initially thought that we were automatically logged into our account after clicking on the email verification link. However, it wasn’t actually the case. We were asked to sign in again as we tried accessing the profile page.

Megawins Account Dashboard

You might get disappointed at first upon realizing that the Profile page (My Account) returns a 404 error. Upon clicking the “My Account,” “Bonuses,” “My Bets,” and “Transactions” options on the My Account dropdown menu, you will only see a blank blue page. However, this seems to be just a little oversight on the part of those responsible for the Megawins website. They apparently forgot to set the correct links. You don’t need the My Accounts menu to access your profile or the account dashboard. The Megawins account dashboard is accessible through the Deposit button. Similarly, the Withdraw button is useless as it also leads to a blank blue page. Only the yellow Deposit button works.

As you enter your account dashboard, you will likely see a familiar interface. It’s the same dashboard used by many other leading online casinos. The first action you are expected to do is to update your profile. This is necessary before you can make a deposit. You will be asked for your birth date, full name, address, country, postal code, and time zone.

The account dashboard comes with the standard features you would expect including the transaction history, balance monitoring, deposit and cashout,  and bonus management and monitoring. It also has a section for uploading documents that can serve as your proofs of identity, address, and deposit.

Based on this account dashboard, it is safe to say that Megawins does not support anonymous online gambling. While Megawins promises not to reveal your personal details to third parties, you will still be compelled to reveal your identity to Megawins.

Megawins Games

Megawins had a total of 525 games at the time we did this Megawins review. These games can be viewed according to category or according to their software provider.

The different game categories are Blackjack, Card Games, Casual, Fruit Slots, Jackpot Games, Live, Lottery, Poker Games, Roulette, Slots, Table Games, Theme Slots, and Video Poker. If you don’t want to look for games by browsing from one category to another, you can use the game search tool on Megawins. It’s located on the upper right corner of the site. We actually thought Megawins does not have this feature because it’s not located near the game gallery.

Just like in most other online casinos, the Slots category has the most number of games including themed slots such as Big Panda, Arising Phoenix, Book of Aztec, Billyonaire, Book of Fortune, Diamonds on Fire, Diamond Cats, and Eye of Ra. The Card Games and Table Games categories feature Baccarat, Caribbean Poker, Hi-Lo Switch, Pontoon, Blackjack, Pocket Dice, and Texas Hold’em. Megawins also has various lottery games including Bonus Keno, Ace, 7 Gold Scratch, and Triple Wins. On the other hand, there are dozens of Poker and Roulette games available. There are also Video Poker games on the site, which include Jacks or Better, All American Double Up, Deuces Wild, Joker Wild, Tens or Better, Double Joker, and Deuces and Jokers. The Casual Games category, moreover, lists only 7 games, namely Scratch Dice, Minesweeper, Pocket Dice, Horse Racing Flash, Heads and Tails, Scratcherz, and Virtual Racebook 3D. The Live category features 12 games. These are varieties of live French roulette and live blackjack.

All of the games have Play for Fun versions so if you don’t have the money to deposit yet, feel free to try the games out.

Game loading time is around average. Some games take longer time to load than others but these games usually reward you with great graphics and cool effects.

The games are not loaded in fullscreen by default. However, they all have full screen modes.

Megawins Game Software and Fairness

The games on the Megawins online casino are supplied by multiple online gaming software providers. These are Amatic, SoftSwiss,  Pocketdice, Endorphina, Ezugi, Betsoft, and Netent. These are the same software providers behind many of the highly rated online casinos in our site such as BitStarz and 7BitCasino.

It is implied on the site that the games are provably fair (because of the Provability page) but we can’t find information on any page on Megawins regarding the fairness provability of the games available. Nevertheless, we are not keen on questioning the fairness and reliability of the games in this Megawins review because the game software providers listed here are some of the most popular and trusted in the online casino industry.

Megawins Is Mobile-Friendly

This online casino is mobile-friendly. It does not have mobile apps for playing the games on iOS, Android, or Windows mobile devices but the mobile-friendly website is arguably enough to allow mobile players to enjoy the games wherever and whenever. The games automatically adjust to the display size of the device used to load them.

Currencies, Deposits, and Withdrawals

We had to consult other Megawins reviews and explore the different parts of the site to find information about the currencies accepted on Megawins. It’s unfortunate that this promising online casino lacks relevant texts regarding important topics such as the currency used and the methods for making deposits and withdrawals.

Based on the Megawins Deposite page, there are three currencies accepted: US dollar (USD), British pound (GBP), and bitcoin (BTC).  The default currency that will be given to a player is EUR but you can quickly add another currency through the Balance tab of the account dashboard.

There are various deposit methods supported on Megawins. These include Trust + POLipayments, credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro), bitcoins (through Cubits), Neteller, PaysafeCard, Skrill, and Sofort überweisung. All of these payment methods enable instant deposits. They also share the same minimum and maximum deposit amounts, at 10 USD and 4,000 USD respectively.

When it comes to cashouts, the methods supported are as follows: credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro), bitcoin (through Cubits), Neteller, and Skrill. The minimum and maximum limits for withdrawals are 20 USD and 4,000 USD respectively.

It’s worth noting that if you choose EUR as your currency, you have the option to deposit and withdraw through bitcoins as powered by Cubits. However, if you decide to use USD for your currency, the bitcoin deposit and withdrawal option disappears.

Making deposits and withdrawals should be quick and easy. The Megawins Deposit and Withdrawal pages readily provides the forms for all payment methods. There’s no need to load a new page to make a deposit for different methods. Everything can be completed right within the account dashboard.

Bonuses and Promotions on Megawins

Megawins has no Bonuses and Promotions page that’s why it took us some time to get all the details we need to put into this part of our Megawins review. Based on what’s indicated on the site, the following are the bonuses and promotions offered:

Unfortunately, we had no way of verifying these supposed bonuses and promotions on Megawins. Obviously, they don’t seem to make a lot of sense. There’s a Welcome Bonus then a Welcome Package and a Sign Up Bonus. It’s confusing. This confusion is made worse by the lack of even an email address we can contact to ask for some clarifications.

We couldn’t find details on the wagering requirements of these bonuses. The FAQ page says that there are wagering requirements but is not clear on what the specific numbers are.

Megawins Player Support

It’s very unusual that the Megawins website does not even present an email address. There’s just no way to contact this online casino at the time we did this Megawins review. There’s no telephone number, let alone live chat support or a Skype username. The site readily presents information about its license and regulation but it does not have contact details posted. There are also no social media links.

The site direly needs updating. The inconsistent of information presented and the over the top claims on the homepage, as we mentioned earlier, make it appear like a scam site. This is unfortunate, considering that Megawins, based on our own assessment, is really promising. The extensive collection of games offered could not be something a scammer’s site would be able to offer.

UPDATE: We found the Megawins support email address. It is [email protected]. We immediately sent an email for our clarifications but have not received a response yet. We realized that we received an email from Megawins right after our account registration was completed.

Countries Served and Site Languages

We couldn’t verify whether or not Megawins accepts players from the United States. There is no list of banned countries or details on country restrictions presented on the site. Again, we also could not reach the Megawins admin and support staff. Nevertheless, based on what we observed in the site, the site apparently detects IP addresses block players from loading the games if they are located in a country that is not served by Megawins. We couldn’t be sure what these countries are.

The Megawins website is only available in the English language.

Megawins License, Regulation, Security, and Player Anonymity

Megawins is a licensed online casino, or that’s at least what the site claims. Accordingly, it is being operated by SoftSwiss N.V. , a company created under the government of Curacao. It is licensed and regulated by Antillephone N.V. with registration #131879.

Megawins guarantees that it’s a safe bitcoin gambling website. It employs industry-standard encryption. Also, if fraudulent or suspicious activities are detected, Megawins will ask for proofs of identity or similar documents to verify if the player requesting for withdrawals is really the owner of the account.

If you are seeking for anonymity as you play on a bitcoin gambling site, Megawins is not going to be your best option. As mentioned earlier, you are required to update your profile details and you may be asked for proofs of identity as you make withdrawals.

Important Notes

Megawins has links for its supposed Terms & Conditions, Promotions, Payment Methods, and Provability, but all of these don’t point to a valid page. They just get redirected to the current page. The only pages that work are the FAQ and About Us pages. The Megawins needs to be updated although the games being offered work and the system for making deposits and withdrawals are functional.
